Holy shit that Lionblaze chapter was so fucking good omg. I really love the focus on relationships on this AU. The characters actually have emotions and motivations and it's just so nice to see. Like Hawkfrost genuinely caring for Lionblaze? God tier concept
honestly i am SO glad you liked it, ngl i was kind of worried abt how this chapter would be received (its not dark like the last one but the tone esp towards the middle is a little gloomy). i try to put a lot of emphasis on personalities/relationships in my writing so i am delighted that it worked for you!
in this au, hawkfrost tends to get a little more attached to others than he intends - in this case, lionpaw. he wasn’t expecting to get invested but he does see a bit of himself in him. lionpaw’s optimistic outlook is also probably a relief after dealing with his dad and the other dark forest cats, lmao. also i just like it when people are friends and get along, sue me lets see how long that lasts
