They go to a lot of gay clubs together that’s like… a fun evening out for them, and quite typical.

They also have to order the cheapest drinks because neither of them ever have any money (most of it is probably blown on Sting’s ridiculous clothing sdfrgthyju i love him)

Also Gray finds one of Sting’s earrings in his bed like… once a week? He is a human colander and he hates it.

They actually share clothes a lot though?? But like Gray modifies it to suit his ~style~ and Sting just cries because… he liked those gloves. They were nice gloves.

Also this, “Sting… why are you ripping the sleeves from your shirts?” “Gray’s been away for a week and he’s 90% of my impulse control so-”

Surprisingly enough, Gray is the reason that they end up with like six cats. He’s always wanted pets, but it was never practical with guild life. Him and Sting make it work though.

They are also really protective over each other’s guilds, as they recognise them as separate safe spaces. People always compare them like, “Aren’t Sabertooth and Fairy Tail enemies?” But Gray just kisses Sting’s forehead like, “Sometimes Tigers eat Fairies, and other times Fairies fly away from Tigers. But we’re both living for our own adventures, and it’s a privilege to share with another person.” (Gray quickly follows this up with a meme because… he can’t handle that level of public emotion. Bless).

Gray reading on his bed, with Sting sprawled over his legs like a cat, on his phone. It’s lazy days like this that they both love; they’re rare, because Sting is the guild master, but they value them.

The relationship probably starts during the year time skip after Tartaros. Although the interest begins during the GMG, they’re both mourning in Tartaros and need to talk to people not directly involved in their guilds. Their personalities fit quite nicely, and they became quick friends. Having such an open relationship with each other, it wasn’t long before it turned into more than that.

(It was Sting who confessed first).
