is there an option to be randomly assigned panel(s) or do we have to apply with some in mind?
We'd say fill out the application form with some panels in mind first, and then we can always pick randomly for you if you’ve been accepted! You'd have to reach out about it specifically.
What would you say are the estimated acceptance enails/Dms being sent out? Also, will you be sending out rejection emails/Dms? I'd hate to have to keep checking my email to see if I was accepted or rejected only to hear nothing back.
We will be sending out acceptance and rejection emails! We aren’t just going to leave those who get rejected in the dark. You may have to check your spam folder for it when we start sending them out. And for the time period, expect to see the emails sent on the 31st of July! If accepted applicants don't respond, we will try to reach out over a different platform just to check with them.
hi, was wondering a few things are we allowed to pick just any panel? or is there a any theme/specific parts being redrawn each time? also, how much time does an artist have/whats the estimated timeline for the project? also also for those who cant take part in v3, any ideas when you would be doing volume 4? hope yall have a good day!

You may pick any available panel, (ones that are NOT listed on the unavailable panel sheet in the application form) There is no theme! and no specific parts you have to draw, all of Homestucks panels are your oyster.
If youd like to organise with other artists to do a theme of some kind for your picks you are totally free to though ^^
The project is annual! (Definitely planning for a Vol.4) And we have a fixed release day of November 11th every year. So our schedule is basically July as application month, then 3 months of work time, and then release! Any subsequent volumes will follow that same schedule.

You can absolutely submit traditional art! We have had traditional art in the past zines as well. If you get accepted, as long as you can scan or photograph your illustrations and scale them to the correct aspect ratio for formatting thats our only requirement!
