The 10 BL series I've rated a 9.5 or 10 on My Drama List.

(tbh I really need to go through and audit this, because this does not match up to the top 10 BL series list I put out earlier this month-read it here)

Dark Blue Kiss

The only series I've ever given a 10/10 rating, only because for a long time it was my absolute favorite.

I don't blame people for not agreeing with this one as the plot is not great. What I love about it is the chemistry of the couples, the story of the side pairing and the leads' relationships with their parents.

3 Will Be Free

I absolutely stand behind this as a solid 9.5.

As someone who is polyamorous, I love the rep (and fully headcannon that the three main characters are still together at the end as a throuple even though I don't think the writers necesarily intended that). I also always love more action based BLs.

Cherry Magic!

Again, absolutely stand behind this, it's in my top 10 of all time and probably always will be.

It's just really cute and fun, it feels like it was made for adults without having to be dark or gritty (not that there's anything wrong with that, but this was a nice change of pace).

Another one that's in my top 10 of all time.

It's a slow burn that didn't bore me, which is honestly an achievement. It's heartfelt and real and beautifully done.

HIStory3: Trapped

Once again, in my top 10 of all time, deserves a 9.5.

Again, I'll always favor an action series. I would describe this as a more PG KinnPorsche. Loveable characters, interesting plot & dynamics. Tragic that it hasn't gotten a season 2.

I can tell you right now that this only got such a high rating because of how much I love Mike & Toptap together.

Until We Meet Again

This should probably be at least a 9.7.

It really raised the bar for BL at the time it was released. While I have my own small grievances with it and definitely don't recommend it for everyone, I love the story, the acting, the characters, the friendship...I could go on.

We Best Love: No. 1 For You

Honestly surprised that this made it up so high.

I know a lot of people love this show, and while clearly I enjoyed the first season, I think I just forgot how much after being let down by S2.

Why R U?

Another one that I'm surprised to see up here.

Tbh I liked this one a lot more than other people, and gave it some slack due to the dificulties it had production wise with COVID. Yes, it's a bit of a mess, but Fighter/Tutor remains a fantastic ship and it's a fun watch in my opinion.
