The original plan of the Decepticons is to turn the autobots who captured them to sex slaves.

Them getting attached and the autobots getting pregnant are purely accidental.

Megatron would be delighted. It has been vorns since a sparkling was born, and will treat this as an important event for all Decepticons. Heck, he'll probably order the other Decepticons to keep the sparkling if their charge got sparked.

Lugnut and Strika only adopted Bulkhead as their son. So they don't need another sparkling at the moment.

Prowl (he survives in this I don't want him dead) escaped Lockdown's ship but he didn't know he was carrying, if Lockdown knew then he'd be horrified, and would probably do abandoned the moment the sparkling emerges.

Ratchet didn't get kidnapped. He's trying to save the others.

But bumblebee?

I personally believe that Blitzwing would be horrified that bumblebee is pregnant cause one, he's not exactly the perfect mech to sire a sparkling- two, Bumblebee at that point in the au is probably so far from being the most 'normal' mech to be a carrier considering how much drug got injected to him.

Either way, Blitzwing will take responsibility for it since it's technically his fault that Bee get pregnant, and will lessen the amount of drug on his spike for the sake of the sparklinh. Though, he does worry on the emergence.

And if Bumblebee somehow managed to got our of that horny haze on his processor? He'll be horrified, and Blitzwing was mildly annoyed at that point until that annoyance turns into worry, for the sake of bumblebee and the sparkling.

7. If you ever hear someone singing or humming the song The Empurean Suite nearby, IMMEDIATELY leave the area. Do whatever you need to do to get away. Anything is better than letting them catch you.

8. Don’t sing or hum The Empyrean Suite.

9. There are scraplets in the oil reservoir. Don’t worry she is mostly domesticated and will not harm you unless it is her feeding time. Do not swim in the reservoir at the times of 10:00 and 25:00

10. The Lost Light has no psychiatrist. If a mech with a grey mouthpiece claims to be one and proposes having sessions with him, do not agree and immediately notify your captains.

11. If you are looking old Lost Light footage or logs and you see any mention of an orange and white bot with glasses and a spark window, named Rung, occupation: psychiatrist, immediately cease looking at the document and give it to the ships archivist Rewind. This mech does not exist. The Lost Light has no psychiatrist.

but! a milisecond later, the thought was "actually this is fantastic for mnemosurgery." deep work in the brain... yesssss... it sounds like a specialized type of mnemosurgery, digging really deep. not sure of purpose, have thought of several:

-dig deep to find secrets?

-dig deep to find and then erase secrets?

-dig deep to find and then replace secrets?

-dig deep to put something in there so the mech thinks they've always been that way?

your question comes to me as I'm listening to BAD OMENS's song Specter, which is really fantastic, and some of the lyrics really work with this prompt:

that last line feels very Psychological and Childhood Trauma in the human context, but very mnemosurgery for robots

and ACTUALLY... now that I'm looking at the lyrics written out, this part works really well for Skywarp in Face the Past!!:

hell yeah I love this song. that's literally FtP Skywarp :U too bad the song came out years after the fic finished haha. ah well, we can enjoy in retrospect :D

UM yes so. Deep Work. I think of mnemosurgery for sure. if I were to challenge myself with not using ANY of my previously-used ideas or characters... hm...

IDW1 Shockwave did A Lot of things to try to take over the universe, or whatever the hell he was doing with all that ore/planets/time travel?? he was a victim of mnemosurgery but I do not recall if he ever employed it, himself. an AU where shockwave/senator shockwave uses it to shape the political landscape to his liking would probably make a good fic. I'm personally not interested in political stories, so you probably will never see that from me. but yeah. complex (senator?) Shockwave mnemosurgery Deep Work fic :D
