So thankful and blessed to have ridden my bike today. Not only by myself but with really AWESOME friends that love to encourage each other but also push each other to make each and everyone faster. But today was so much more than just ANOTHER ride. Today was my 5000 mile of the YEAR. To think I would have 5000 miles by the fourth of September I would’ve said not likely. When I set out this season the theme was if I’m not smiling I’m not having fun. There’s NO point in riding. Well as most of you know. I did a vast majority of my miles in groups like tonight. Not only that though. I rode on behalf of youth ministry in Thailand 🇹🇭 Poland 🇵🇱 and India 🇮🇳 what a season I’ve had. And I still have four more month. I’m truly blessed and thankful for everyone who has joined me. Whether it’s dragging @abemill out of bed at 6am and doing a fast 30 miles talking life and spiritual walks. Or riding in Florida with @endscycling. How about the ride where I got DROPPED by @tri4life20 AFTER I bragged about going to a @switchfoot concert. My two favorite rides though were @ragbrai century day where I did NOT sleep the night before and @leah.r.hardin prayed Justin and I off as we started the last 70 miles of the day. The hardest ride was the century on #MNBR2019 with hills and headwinds from Spooner Wisconsin to Stillwater Minnesota. While wearing my #HydrocephalusAwareness jersey. @allpraisejc pulled me that day! I’m so thankful for that guy. To say this has been a year of EPIC riding would be THE understatement of ALL understatements. I am TRULY grateful and blessed to be able to ride my bike for the furthering of GLOBAL YOUTH MINISTRY through @endscycling. To think THREE years ago I’d be going in to ministry, I would’ve said “NO!” And now. I’m ALL IN! Yesterday we put a rap on the 2019 Minnesota Wisconsin bike ride. It was a slow recovery ride which I was more than up for after two five hundred mile weeks on the bike. Yesterday was 43 miles of flat and bike trails. This tour marks my third @endscycling tour of the year, my second official though. It was a blast! My goal this tour was to learn and help the other riders push their own limits. Goal accomplished. I had three highlights from this tour. One was getting to ride 500 plus miles under the tutelage of @allpraisejc. My second was getting to reconnect with a family friend I haven’t seen in years. My third was pushing through my pen mental barriers on a very difficult century day! The weather for the tour was unbelievable! Low to mid 80’s to start and upper 70’s to finish! I am so grateful for this awesome organization that allows me to live my faith out through cycling and impacting missions! 2030 is right around the corner! Key west. #MNBR2019 worship on the last night. 47 miles tomorrow! So thankful to be a part of this awesome ministry that allows me to use my ability of cycling to further HIS kingdom! Day of #MNBR2019 was a day for the record books. 80.8 miles with a solid 15.1 average. We rode from Mankato to zumbroda. It was gorgeous. We had a tail cross wind. It was so much fun! I even got stopped by a motorist who asked about @endscycling. Yeah.
