FREAK, I KEEP FORGETTING NOOROO’S ENGLISH VOICE AND EVERY TIME I HEAR IT I DIE A LITTLE BECAUSE I LOVE HIM BUT I HATE HIS VOICE! QwQ Anyway, so Nooroo is talking about the miraculous and how heroes have used them for centuries, so basically explaining how we got to this point. So Hercules is a miraculous holder, huh? Ignoring Feast, I like to think he is a cat miraculous holder. That would be freaking cool. Also, Nooroo refers to miraculous as “jewels” which is kind of cool. So they’re some kind of precious stone? The little rock lover in me is very happy. He also mentions that whoever uses the most powerful miraculi (the cat ring and ladybug earrings) will achieve absolute power which sounds great. Also, cut to Hawkmoth closing his little brooch locket after staring at Emile for probably the thousandth time. I have no idea how my brain excused this when trying to figure out who Hawkmoth was. I suspected it to be Gabe once but just never gave it a real thought and just someone else had a thing for Emilie, which would have been cool. Ah, to be in those times once more. So Hawkmoth really wants those miraculous and Nooroo says nobody knows where they are which brings up many questions for me. Like, how does Nooroo know this? Does he just assume because he doesn’t know, no one else does? Why did no one try to contact Nooroo sooner? Also, he’s so cute. I love Nooroo so much, you have no idea. QWQ  Hawkmoth asks to be reminded of his powers again, for some dumb reason. I know its to inform the viewer so I’ll let it slide but still... dude... Nooroo is like, “you can give powers to normal people and make them their own superheroes and they become your devoted followers” and Hawkmoth is like, “Pfft... more like supervillains” and Nooroo is like, “No, you can’t. Miraculous aren’t meant to be used for evil!” and Hawkmoth is all like, “Make me!” Complete with the toddler foot stamp and I just... It’s honestly kind of funny, especially knowing this is Gabe. I also wonder why you couldn’t just say something like, “I’m not using it for evil purposes. You’ll see... this will all be for good in the end.” Come on, man. Stop acting like child and grow that villain spine. Hawkmoth basically makes Nooroo a slave and NO MY BABY IS SAD, HOW DARE YOU! And then he transforms and I really need to know... did... did Hawkmoth really just add “dark” to “wings rise” because it sounded evil or was that the actual phrase? I wouldn’t be surprised if it was because butterflies are hardcore but still... >.> “From this day on... I shall be know as... Hawk... mom... *evil laughter*” Okay, so he does actually say Hawkmoth but I literally heard Hawkmom and I couldn’t resist. Watching Hawkmoth transform is awesome, he gets covered in butterflies and then just magically gets a suit. None of the flashes and poses. It’s so refreshing.  We cut to Wayzz sleeping in the phonograph and.... does Fu ever actually used this for its intended purpose because if so, Wayzz postage stamp decor and matchbox bed is kind of just screwed, huh? So Wayzz senses the butterfly miraculous went active I guess... They never explain this, btw. They never use this again! I am low key, kind of ticked about it. Anyway, he loudly calls out to Fu for some dumb reason and it leads to Fu having to cover up that he has a magical god living with him, by pretending to chant “master” over his patient. At least, I believe it to be some kind of patient and that he makes living from being some weird spiritual healer but... why didn’t we get scenes of Mari barging in on him during his work hours? Imagine how hilarious that would be. Come to think of it... why does this never come up again? He even mentions he’ll see the guy next week as he pushes him out the door? Alright Wayzz... how do you know the person who has the butterfly miraculous is “dark”? Did you just hear “dark wings rise” in your dreams? That must be it... Fu says they gotta stop it so he tries to transform but his back is like, “Ha. Nah. Find someone else.” So Wayzz is like, “dude, you can’t do this, you’re old.” Fu is like, “I am 186 and still kicking!” DANG FU you look REAL good for your age! So he presses a few buttons on the phonograph and we get to see the miracle box. Cut to Mari’s house where her alarm is going off and her mom is telling her to get up because her alarm has been going off FOR 15 MINUTES? MARI! THAT THING IS RIGHT NEXT TO YOUR HEAD? HOW THE HECK? I mean, I relate... but STILL. So Mari heads down stairs to get food and then complains about the fact Chloe is gonna show up in her class and Sabine is like, “FOUR YEARS IN A ROW? IS THAT POSSIBLE?” I guess. Apparently. Mari’s just real lucky like that. So does anyone know what the freak Mari is making for breakfast because she put what I assume to be milk and cocoa powder in a bowl and that just don’t sound healthy? She then slams that tub of cocoa powder down and it causes an orange to roll out of the fruit bowl next to it, down the cheese conveniently placed as a ramp against it, over the knife (despite not going fast enough to really do that) leaning against the stick of butter, knocking over what I still assume to be milk, then circling back over to knock over an unopened yogurt. This whole time I have been screaming at the screen, “GRAB THE ORANGE! GRAB THE FREAKING ORANGE!! GIRL YOU HAVE HANDS!! USE THEM!!” Mari is upset about this even though its her mom’s fault for setting the table up like that. I MEAN WHY? WHY WOULD YOU EVER SET IT UP LIKE THAT? Sabine comforts her and we get a cute smile so that’s great. So now Mari is fully clothed and Tom gives her a box of macaroons to share with her class... Can we take a second and just admire how HUGE Tom is? Like this man got together with a small woman with a pear shape and created their skinny as a stick daughter. Just let that sink in.  Mari thanks her dad for the pastries and he thanks her for their new logo she designed and it looks fine. I like it, I do, but I wouldn’t classify it as amazing. But I do appreciate him encouraging his daughter I just don’t think that would really draw people into their bakery but then again, I guess it had to be simple so they could stamp it on their macaroons for some reason. Then Mari runs outside and almost gets run over by a car moving way too fast for that kind of street but whatever. Then she sees this old man taking his sweet time walking that crosswalk when the sign is red and NO ONE ELSE CARES but Mari. So Mari swoops in to save his clearly blind behind and in the process drops some of her macaroons. RIP. Btw, that car was moving way too fast and surely would have caught Fu’s ankles. Oh, yeah, the old guy is Fu, forgot to mention that. Why does no one even stop to react to this? AN OLD MAN ALMOST DIED AND THIS RANDOM STICK FIGURE SAVED HIS LIFE AND THEY KEEP STEPPING ON HER PASTRIES!! WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? (please note, that I am not shaming Mari for being skinny. I find her cute and tiny but perhaps a little too thin but not bad. I have a cousin way skinnier than her and said cousin is in her 20s. My family tends to worry about her but she eats fine and is just fine, just a stick).  So in the English version Fu just takes a macaroon without asking and I’m glad Mari was okay with that but personally I would have preferred he had asked especially since he caused her to drop them. So then we hear the school bell ring causing Mari to freak. She runs off because she’s late and Fu looks down at his little box with the earrings in it because Mari proved she’s heroic which is cool but what I’m more concerned about is how loud the school bell is? Why is it so loud? Why can she hear it from next to her home?  Mari makes it in class, takes a seat, and the teacher tells Nino to sit in the front probably because she wants to keep an eye on him so he doesn’t listen to music instead of learning. He’s so mad about it though, and it’s cute. Then Chloe shows up to tease Mari and Mari doesn’t really act like a bully victim here? She kind acts like Chloe is just a nuisance, something akin to breaking your only pencil while in the middle of writing something? Chloe wants Mari’s seat for some dumb reason and tells her to get lost. Mari says, “But Chloe, this has always been my seat.” Hold up... You mean to tell me, that you’ve been showing up in the same classroom every year? That can happen? I had no freaking idea. So teachers aren’t resigned to specific grades? No, these are actual serious questions. I had been home schooled most of my life and was only in public school for the first 5 years of schooling. So does this actually happen? Is this just a France thing? Or is it made up? Genuinely curious. Sabrina tells Mari to get lost. Chloe suggest she sit next to the new girl. Mari doesn’t even get to answer because Chloe is like, “Look, Adrien is arriving today and I’ll be damned if I don’t get to sit near him so get your butt out of that seat before I rip it off myself.” Could be paraphrasing. *blinks innocently* Then the thing I call bs on happens (yeah, even in origins), Mari says, “Who’s Adrien?”  Alright, your a fan of the Gabriel Agreste brand but have no idea who his main and (apparently) only model is? I agree with Chloe. Have you been living under a rock? Girl, where have you been? Have you actually just been asleep this whole time until this story just finally began? That’s the only think that makes sense. >.> Alya a.k.a. “the new girl” barges over to tell Chloe to get off her high horse, Chloe calls her a little superhero I guess, “what are you gonna do, shoot beams with your glasses?” and Alya is like, “wouldn’t you like to know?” before dragging Mari out of her seat WITHOUT ASKING HER FIRST so she falls on her face because she didn’t expect it and causes her to drop almost all the rest of her macaroons. Again... RIP. Alya leads Mari to the seat next to her while Mari apologizes for an honest mistake. Mari is like, “dang, wish I could do that like you” and Alya is like, “you mean the way Wonder Woman knock-off does it?” Then spouts a kind of cool quote from her comic book where it goes, “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good people do nothing.” Then calls Chloe evil and her and Mari good people. She says they can handle her and Mari is doubtful but Alya just thinks she needs more confidence. Mari shares the only macaroon left with Alya , they introduce themselves, and behold, a budding friendship.  Chloe’s all sad Adrien isn’t there yet and then we get this beautiful cut where Adrien just appears in from of a billboard of his perfume advertisement (wait, hold on, that was created in a later episode after origins canonically? How the heck?) and I can’t help but find it hilarious. He’s trying to run into school but a car is chasing him which is low key terrifying when you don’t know its actually his body guard and... task manager.... I guess? Nathalie pops out like, “You can’t do this, your father will kill you and then me” and Adrien is like, “I WANT TO GO TO PUBLIC SCHOOL, YOU CAN’T STOP ME” before this convenient old man falls over reaching for his cane and Adrien gets all sad so he goes to help. I just... Mari saves Fu from dying and Adrien hands Fu a cane? Really? Fine, whatever. At least he’s a sweetheart because anyone else would have ignored that, especially with how desperately he wanted to go to school. Btw, AGAIN STRANGERS JUST WALK PAST A POOR HELPLESS (as far as they know) OLD MAN? WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? I like to think that Fu kept doing this over and over again whenever he saw a kid run into school and the people are just like, “Ugh, what’s wrong with this guy.” Personal preference, though. So Adrien turns back to the school, sees his bodyguard and Nathalie and just immediately gives up which is so freaking sad. Dude, you could AT LEAST try to run around them? He’s like, “I just want to go to school like everybody else. Please don’t tell my father.” SOMEBODY HUG HIM!! I hated public school myself, but that was my problem and had I been home schooled from the beginning I might have longed to go to school just like Adrien so I feel bad for him even if I don’t get the appeal. Anyway, they take him home.  So cut back to the class where the teacher tells the kids that have PE to head to it and the rest to go to the library and... I’m sorry... THERE’S  A PE IN THIS SCHOOL? Anyway, Ivan gets mad at Kim for teasing him with a piece of paper and shouts, preparing to punch Kim... While I get the teacher telling Ivan to go to the principal’s office for that I still think she should have heard him out and tried to solve this first before immediately just sending Ivan off but what do I know?  We cut to Hawkmoth just sitting in the dark all alone waiting for this negative moment I guess. He sends an evil butterfly after Ivan... Hawkmoth... Gabe... dude... Get a life. Ivan opens the door to the principal’s office but the principal ain’t a fan of that no knocking thing people do now-a-days and tells him to start over and knock this time. That’s when the butterfly enters the piece of paper crumpled in Ivan’s hand that Kim teased him with and we get Stoneheart and then he just busts down the door to the principal’s office. It causes the library to shake so Mari falls over while everyone else runs but Alya scoops her on to her feet and they rush over to the security cameras that are for some reason in the library where we see Stoneheart outside already. Well... that was fast... Mari immediately recognizes it as Ivan by his voice which I mean, wow. Good for you. Alya is like, “It’s as if he has been transformed into a super villain!” And rushes off to document it and Mari asks what the heck but Alya says “where’s there’s a super villain there’s always a superhero close behind! No way I’m missing this!” And leaves. Alright, you aren’t just gonna let her run off like that, Mari? Like seriously, she could die. You are? Okay... Stoneheart throws a car at the security camera and it causes Mari to flinch. HOW DARE YOU Cut to Fu outside of Adrein’s mansion with another jewelry box with the ring inside and then we go into the house to find Adrien answering questions Nathelie is quizzing him on. What is Nathalie to Adrien, anyway? Shouldn’t Adrien have a private teacher? So Gabe shows up and I guess rubs in Adrien’s face he can’t go to school... He already knows this? I’m really just being picky here. I get it, its a natural parenting technique, it helps remind kids and cement things in their minds. It just annoys me a bit. XD Adrien tries to protest, Gabe don’t want his son “out there in that dangerous world”, Adrien calls foul on this and is like “why can’t I be like everyone else” and Gabe is like, “because you are not like everyone else, you are my son!” Ugh. I have specific feelings about this scene but won’t share them because of reasons. Adrien just runs off to cry and then hears the Stoneheart stuff going on outside. He rushes out of his mansion to find a bunch of police cars outside his gate and they fire at Stoneheart but it only makes Stoneheart grow bigger and Stoneheart still wants to murder Kim so... yay. Stoneheart tries to crush a police officer with their own police van but misses. WOO! Adrien rushes back to his room and turns on the TV to find the mayor telling people to stay inside and then Nadja sharing the news that they all believe this is a super villain? How do you guys even know? What the heck? Why are you so chill about that? Are super villains just a normal thing in your world? We see Mari is watching news in her room at her computer, then Adrien and Mari notice this weird jewelry box right in front of them and I get why Adrien didn’t see it since he just got to his TV and was too preoccupied with seeing what was going on but Mari... it’s literally right in front of your computer? How the heck did you not see it? They both open them to get really bright lights in their face that reveal odd creatures that we all know as the kwamis Tikki and Plagg. Mari screams at the sight of Tikki and calls her a bugmouse while flinging books at her. All while Tikki tries to tell her to calm the freak down. Glad Tikki is having fun. Btw, apparently the live news broadcast paused on her computer somehow, without her touching it? Adrien’s TV did the same thing? Alrighty then. Adrien thinks Plagg is the genie in the lamp and Plagg is like, “Met him once. So he grants wishes... Big deal!” I’M SORRY? YOU WHAT? GENIES ARE CANON IN THIS UNIVERSE? I don’t know what to do with this information... Plagg immediately tries eating anything he sees and, I mean, same. Adrien chases Plagg around to get him to stop. Back with Mari she manages to “trap” Tikki in a glass and then Tikki tries to explain herself saying, “if that makes ya feel better”. Back to Adrien climbing a rock wall to pounce on Plagg trying to eat the TV remote. It’s honestly hilarious. Adrien catches Plagg, Plagg explains a few things and asks if Adrien’s got it, Adrien shakes his head, clueless. Don’t blame him. Plagg is like, “glad ya got it. have anything to eat?” Which is a good question.... what do kwamis eat in their weird kwami realm? Adrien for some reason thinks this is a prank played on him by his dad of all people. He does realize that’s stupid but come on, Adrien. Plagg is like, “YOUR DAD CANNOT KNOW I EXIST AND NO ONE ELSE, GOT THAT?”  Back to poor Tikki and Mari. Mari starts screaming for her parents but Tikki phases out of the glass to stop her. Then we cut to Fu and Wayzz where Wayzz wonders if they’ll be up to it and Fu is like, “only got it wrong once, it will never happen again.” Very reassuring. Back with Mari like, “hey, you should see Alya. She loves superheroes. I ain’t up for this.” Tikki is like, “but your the chosen one”. Back to Adrien wondering how the heck he can be a superhero when he’s stuck in his house while Plagg is hilariously running around on a roll of toilet paper. Back to Mari putting the earrings in and Tikki giving her instructions. And Tikki calls lucky charm her “secret superpower”... Some secret... >.> Mari doesn’t think she can do it, Tikki is like, “you can do it, just say spots on”. Mari does, then she does the transformation thing. Back with Adrien as he puts the ring on and Plagg tells him to say “claws out” and Adrien just immediately does it and I’m laughing so hard. He’s so ready to be a superhero. Plagg screams something about, “haven’t finished explaining” before being sucked into the ring so... that’s fun. : ) Back to Mari, now Ladybug, looking in her mirror and messing with her hair that hasn’t changed on bit so who knows why she is messing with that... while also trying to figure out how to take the suit off and calling for Tikki. GEE. I FEEL LIKE TIKKI COULD HAVE EXPLAINED A BIT MORE BEFORE TELLING HER HOW TO TRANSFORM! The news suddenly started up again and Ladybug sees that Alya is chasing Stoneheart on a bike and she seems surprised? Girl, she told you she was gonna do this! Sabine calls up to Mari, asking if she got home safely, Ladybug panics and is like, “yup” while running up to her balcony. Sabine is apparently deaf and did not hear her so she tells Tom they should call the school while Ladybug tries to figure out the Ladybug thing. She throws her yo-yo, it hooks onto something, and she’s off.  Cut to Chat Noir now balancing on his baton, being graceful and careful. That’s cute. He’s never gonna be careful again. XD Ladybug just lands on top of him and then they are tied together in her yo-yo, hanging from his baton. Good times. Somehow they got out of that and Chat is like, “bet your the partner my kwami told me about” and I’m sorry? When did Plagg tell you this? Chat introduces himself as Chat and he asks for Ladybug’s name. Ladybug almost introduces herself as Mari while trying to get her yo-yo down but accidentally hits Chat on the head with it, but she got it and his baton down so, cool. She’s like, “I’m madly clumsy.” He tells her its okay, he’s learning too. What a sweetheart.  That’s when a building falls over and then Chat pole-vaults off. Ladybug asks where the heck he is going and he’s like, “To save Paris, right?” I love him. He runs off. Ladybug managed to figure out how to swing the yo-yo but hasn’t quite figured out how to handle the swinging part, yet. You’ll get there. 

So apparently gym is at a public stadium? Alright... So Stoneheart finds Kim there and is all like, “Who’s the wuss now?” Chat Noir stops Stoneheart from crushing Kim. “Hey, it’s not very nice to pick on people who are smaller than you.” Stoneheart is like, “guess your talking about yourself.” Then immediately tries to kill Chat, but Chat jumps out of the way. Also, I’m taking a moment to just point out how deep Stoneheart’s voice is compared to Ivan’s... How did Mari recognize it? We cut to Hawkmoth in his lair like, “everything is going according to plan. The ladybug and cat miraculous are out and they have come to save the day. Now my super villain will destroy them.” Okay, how did you know their names already before Chat Noir even said it and before Ladybug has even came up with hers? Is it because it’s predictable? I get ya. Cut back to Chat still dodging Stoneheart like a boss. He then hits Stoneheart and he grows bigger... Boo.... Chat is wondering where the heck Ladybug is and keeps dodging death. Good for him. Then we zoom out to the top of the stadium where Ladybug is on top of it just watching in shock.  Stoneheart throws a soccer/football net that literally almost kills Alya if it weren’t for Chat Noir throwing his baton to knock it away. Nice aim, man. Sadly, its at the cost of him getting caught by Stoneheart. QWQ Alya tells Ladybug to get her butt down there already. Ladybug nearly has a panic attack but becomes filled with confidence all of a sudden. Alright. She jumps into action. She’s like, “animal cruelty? How shameful!” While she trips up Stoneheart with her yo-yo and gets a perfect soccer/football goal with Chat Noir. Good for her. Ladybug’s like, “sorry it took me so long” and Chat is pretty cool with it. Glad you were so cool with her almost letting ya die because of her nerves. I don’t blame Ladybug but I feel Chat Noir should be at least like, “I understand but maybe next time you could not let me get captured by the pile of rocks that could crush me in milliseconds? :D” He runs off to beat Stoneheart’s “rocky-behind”. Ladybug grabs his tail like, “are you insane? He gets bigger and stronger with every attack! We need another plan!” There’s Chat just casually petting his tail. Chat asks what they should do and Ladybug has no idea so Chat does cataclysm. Ladybug asks what it does, Chat is like “apparently I destroy whatever I touch” and Ladybug is like, “I don’t need a superpower to do that”. I see were just booming with confidence. Chat Noir uses it on the soccer/football net and is all like, “cool!” Before rushing over to try and use it on Stoneheart, before Ladybug can stop him. Anyway, it doesn’t work because it only has a one time use.  Stoneheart kicks Chat away and man it sounded painful! Sounded like Chat was impaled for a second... Ladybug is like, “now you only have 5 minutes until you transform back, didn’t your kwami explain anything to you?” Chat has to sheepishly explain he got excited. Nice. Ladybug is oddly cool with it even though she’ll never be like that again so I shall savor this moment. She calls for lucky charm and gets a scuba diving suit? Okay. She says Tikki told her she had to break the object where the akuma was hiding and Chat’s like, “he’s entirely made out of stone so...” Ladybug points out that his right hand is still closed into a fist which is all fine and dandy and everything but I don’t know how he didn’t drop that little purple rock when throwing that soccer/football net at Alya.  Chat asks for the plan, Ladybug spots Stoneheart’s right fist, Alya, one end of a hose, the other end of a hose. She sticks that other end of the hose into her scuba suit lucky charm and somehow tied all the sleeves closed in less than 2 seconds. Then she wraps her yo-yo around Chat’s legs and yeets him at Stoneheart without giving him the plan. Thanks, Ladybug. Chat Noir calls her crazy. I agree. She also told him not to resist while she did that and to trust her. I wouldn’t. I just met ya, miss. Stoneheart catches Chat in one hand and then Ladybug jumps forward holding the scuba suit attached to the hose. Man this is a long hose. What is this hose doing in a public stadium? Stoneheart catches her in his other fist, causing him to drop his little purple rock. Ladybug screams at Alya, (saying her name, btw, and this will be glossed over) to turn on the water which blows up the swimsuit and releases Ladybug from his grasp. Ladybug breaks the rock and watches the butterfly fly away. That’s fun.  Ivan returns to normal and Chat is free. Chat casually fawns over this girl who almost killed him. That’s always nice. Honestly my favorite part of romance. Ladybug looks at the pieces of purple rock she had in her hand and they turn into a crumpled piece of paper... WHEN DID SHE PICK UP THOSE PIECES OF PURPLE ROCK? EXCUSE ME, THAT DIDN’T HAPPEN!  Anyway, Ivan asked what the heck happened, Chat is like, “you were awesome.” And she’s like, “we did it together.” Yeah, sure ya did. : D They “pound it” for the first time. SO CUTE!! Chat has to run off because he’s gonna detransform. Ladybugs tells him “our identities must remain secret” which will never not be frustrating to me. It was even before season 2 and 3. Chat bounces. Ladybug causally hopes she never has to do this whole hero thing again. She turns to Ivan after reading that piece of paper Kim used to tease him. Hey, Ladybug, that could be private. How about you don’t? It says, “You haven’t even got the guts to tell Mylene you love her. Wuss.” Ladybug is all like, “aw....” I mean, me too. Ivan is like, “Kim wrote that. He’s always making fun of me.” Ladybug holds the paper out and I now see Kim did a little doodle of him pointing and laughing at Ivan and that’s a cute little detail. Ladybug is like, “You really shouldn’t get so bent up about that. There’s no shame in telling someone you love them, Ivan.” This is advice she will never take for herself but I don’t follow my own advice myself, so like I blame her. Ivan asks how she knows his name but luckily Alya interrupts with her recording of Ivan asking that question. Hey, so does she ever answer that? Alya is fangirlling and is like, “Are you gonna be protecting Paris from now on? How did you get your powers? Did you get stung by a radioactive ladybug?” 1. Ha, nice reference to spider-man. It’s a great tribute to the superhero they took inspiration from. 2. LADYBUG’S CAN STING YOU? WHAT? Ladybug finally introduces herself as Ladybug before swinging away.  Cut to Mari watching the news, which is sharing Alya’s footage. Mari is like, “I did it, Tikki!” Tikki is all like, “I told ya.” Mari gets called down for dinner. Cut to Plagg looking at four different dishes of food as the mayor on TV plans a celebration in honor of Ladybug and Chat Noir. Adrien is all sappy about her name being Ladybug but Plagg interrupts with the fact he hates gourmet ice cream so Adrien asks what the heck he wants. Cut to that stupid little purple butterfly that I bet ya forgot about that flies to the top of the Eiffel tower and just multiplies by the thousands infecting tons of people and turning them into mini paralyzed Stonehearts. Mari catches this on the news and races to her room. Cut to Adrien complaining about Plagg eating camembert and that he’s gonna smell like that. No worries, I assure you no one in this universe is gonna care. Then Adrien catches what’s on the news.  Adrien asks what’s up, then Tikki and Plagg ask their holders if they caught the akuma. Mari asks what that means. Tikki is like, “it can multiple which means if Ivan gets upset again, he’ll turn back into Stoneheart and control all the other stone beings”. Fun times here in the miraculous universe, everyone. Mari blames herself and I just gotta say... NO! BAD MARI!! THIS IS TIKKI’S FAULT! SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD YOU ABOUT THAT!  Tikki is like, “it was only the first time, you’ll do it right next time, I know it”. Mari is like, “nope. I’m a mess. I’m quitting. Chat Noir can handle it.” Meanwhile, Adrien finds out he can’t do anything without Ladybug so... yay. Mari is like, “if Chat Noir can’t do it, you’ll just have to find another Ladybug”. She takes her earrings off which causes Tikki to disappear and she gets confused before putting the earrings away. She gets sad. Cut to Hawkmoth taking his akuma back to save for later and is all excited for the future of Stoneheart. Ivan, Adrien, Plagg, and Mari are all sad while Hawkmoth monologues about the “fact” he’s totally gonna get absolute power. And it just ends.... There’s no end card. While, that’s sad. I can’t end this without an end card... Let me see if I can find a nice screenshot. 

Okay, so this episode starts out with the Eiffel Tower yet again being repaired. At this rate I expect the Eiffel Tower to just be akumatized and terrorize these two heroes for constantly breaking it. The thing never catches a break. So now the duo is acting like very out of character a-holes to one another. They are both horrible freaking jerks in this beginning and I know as a duo you’ll have fights but they never apologize for this. This never comes again. They never fight like this again. So behold, reason number 1 as to why I hate this episode. Look, I’m not even going to sum up what they both say because I hate what they both say. Just know that Chat basically listens to nothing LB says and calls her humorless and LB just says he has it easy which she shall repeat over and over again throughout this episode. -.- So we cut to one of the very few actually good parts about this episode where Juleka is trying to decide if she wants to put her bangs up or not. It’s kind of cute. We learn Juleka really wants to be a model which I find very cute and she believes she’s never gonna be picked to be a model. Luka will have none of his sister self deprecating and is like, “Have you tried talking to Mari about your idea?” She’s like nah. He’s like, “You’re really pretty, Jule. I’m sure Mari would love to have you as her model. You gotta follow your dreams, don’t let them pass you by. ” As he clips her bangs up for her. This is so cute and I am nearly crying but its a freaking sin this is the first time we see them interact as sibling like this. >:V He’s like, “You were made for this” kisses her cheek “Go for it.” And she smiles so brightly. :’ D So let’s cut back to school where apparently their science teacher didn’t come in so now there out of school early. Alya is like, “LET’S MAKE THAT VIDEO FOR MARI’S SOON-TO-BE WEBSITE!” All the girls are down for this, for some reason. Do they literally exist for anything else besides helping Mari? I get their friends but does Mari even do anything with them? We wouldn’t know because WE NEVER SEE IT! Wow, I really forgot how freaking tall Juleka is compared to the rest of them. Anyway, Alya is like, “Remember I asked you guys to think about modeling her designs?” All the girls clam up but Juleka walks up and is like, “Uh... I would like to.” Everyone makes a supremely big deal of her pulling up her bangs. WOW IT’S ALMOST LIKE THIS EXISTS TO MAKE JULEKA UNCOMFORTABLE AND NOT AS A NORMAL REACTION PEOPLE WOULD MAKE! Seriously, this seems like a scene that would happen in Friends and Juleka is so weirded out by their very unnatural reactions. (Except Rose, who acts normal and tells her she looks good. Bless Rose). Seriously, she is surrounded by gasps and Mylene goes, “I’ve never seen the top half of your face before!” Which isn’t true, you just haven’t seen it in full. What she should say is “I have never seen the top left of you face before!” If she must be weird, be accurate. And Mari freaking rubs her eyes, as if she can’t believe a girl would even change her hairstyle just a little. I know Juleka is portrayed as shy and probably hasn’t done this much but COME ON! So the girls are all excited and drag Juleka along to begin but Alya stops Mari and is like, “We’re gonna need someone who understands fashion shoots.” A.k.a. Adrien. Which is really annoying. Yes, it is nice they are getting professional advice but they could do this themselves, occasionally asking Adrien if it looks good, what they could change so forth. This is literally only here for Alya to yet again set Mari up for some time with Adrien which Mari is still against and if you saw my commentary on Animan, you’ll know how much I hate this. Alya has to stop doing this to Mari. She’s never going to do anything herself if Alya keeps doing everything for her. In Kung Food what she did was fine. She just initiated it but let Mari handle the rest. That was okay. I would have still preferred she told Mari but at least she was letting Mari handle things on her own for the most part. THIS, WHAT SHE IS DOING NOW, IS REALLY FREAKING ANNOYING! Depsite Mari very much against this, to the point she sounds like she’s about to cry (again, I very much worry for Mari’s mental health when it comes to anything Adrien related), Alya STILL goes up and asks Adrien to join them. -.- Adrien is like, “I’d love to, but my dad would kill me if I didn’t come home.” And she says, “Well, yeah, but technically you father doesn’t know our teacher didn’t come in to teach so from his POV you are still in school. *wink wink* *nudge nudge*” Adrien’s like, “Makes sense. Okay, cool. I’ll do it.” Mari literally faints at this outcome. So now were in Mari’s room and she has pulled out this cute little wooden box that has all of her (I assume hand made) jewelry. UGH WAIT SO ALYA DIDN’T EVEN BRING ADRIEN HERE TO ACTUALLY HELP, BECAUSE SHE TELLS MARI THIS HER CHANCE TO ASK HIM TO THE MOVIES!! LET MARINETTE HANDLE THIS ON HER OWN!! UGH, THIS EPISODE MAKES ME WANT TO PUNCH EVERYONE!! So Adrien is being a great help and is telling the girls to make sure the lighting is complimenting Juleka. What a sweetheart. I also like how comfortable he is around this group of girls without a guy around. It’s really nice. So Mari was apparently looking through her jewelry to see which would go best with her outfits and Adrien suggests the one Mari is holding as “It will compliment the suit really well”. I really like how he gets to actually manage a photoshoot this time. It must be nice. However, I know this a fabricated way of them going, “SEE, ADRIEN LIKED MODELING ALL ALONG!” For some reason they wanted to change the fact he didn’t like constantly modelling and found the constant photoshoots boring. (Also, I know whenever I say, “they” it seems I am referring to the whole miraculous team but well a lot of them are to blame I am mostly referring to one certain person but since they’re freaking a-hole I’d rather not give them the satisfaction of even negative publicity). Anyway, Mari agrees and says Adrien’s name but then feels the need to correct herself by saying his name again, but weirder and shouting it... why? Oh great, now here comes one of my least favorite scenes. Alya tells Juleka to smile for the camera but Juleka starts having a serious anxiety attack and really lacks faith she’s going to be able to do it. She’s freaking shaking and breathing heavily and everyone is comforting her well EXCEPT ONE PERSON! But we’ll get to that... -.- Mari thanks her for being her model but she knows Juleka is uncomfortable so she asks Juleka if she would like someone to stand in. It’s really sweet of Mari. She knows how anxiety attacks can feel and is actually trying to help. Rose is rubbing Juleka’s arm for comfort. These are all wonderful things to do when someone is suffering from an attack (unless they obviously express they don’t want it). I’m gonna pause here and before get onto the upsetting part, may I just say, I suffer from anxiety. I used to have attacks very similar to Juleka. I couldn’t do anything and I didn’t want to do anything. My heart would feel like it was beating a thousand miles a minute but in reality it was at its normal speed. I would shake uncontrollably and I really couldn’t get words out because I was having such a hard time just trying to calm myself down. I really relate so much to Juleka in this moment and I was kind of happy they were displaying an accurate anxiety attack in such a way... But... I should know better than to trust such serious issues in their hands... Continuing on, ALYA decides to say, “Better decide fast! We have less than an hour until Adrien has to leave!” Adrien isn’t a horrible friend and says, “That’s fine. We can always reschedule. I’ll help next time, if my dad will let me.” He doesn’t make promises he can’t keep but he also makes sure to let them know it is okay and Juleka is important right now. Mari says, “This is something I should do myself, after all. These are my designs.” Which, is a stupid arbitrary thing to say and makes no sense. I agree she should be manning this project, with Adrien’s help and NOT ALYA but she can’t seriously believe she could do this herself? However, I understand Mari’s logic here as she is trying to find what is burdening Juleka and trying to take the weight off her but ALYA SWOOPS IN SOUNDING VERY HAPPY AND SUGGESTS THAT MARI AND ADRIEN SHOULD MODEL! (At least we get confirmation Mari’s designs are unisex..) SHE RIPS JULEKA’S HAT OFF HER AND GIVES IT TO MARI!! By this point I am reaching untamed amounts of rage. Look, I was never a big fan of Alya but even I know she isn’t this freaking insensitive and I know she is normally a very good friend so this absolute disrespect for Juleka and insistent need to set Mari up with Adrien every 5 seconds really isn’t her... HOWEVER it is still very insulting and horrible! Juleka is, unsurprisingly, very sad about this. Alya DIDN’T EVEN ASK if Juleka was okay with this! Not to mention this many people talking at once can not help someone suffering from an anxiety attack and can actually make it worse. You need to be calm around someone who can’t calm down. Even if the excitement you are feeling is good that does not help the individual suffering calm down. UGH. Oh, so Mari did make the jewelry? Cool. So now Mari and Adrien need to change, I guess. -.- “I just bought you some extra time to ask him out! You’re welcome!” SHUT UP, ALYA!! So Mari takes her earring off, despite knowing that’s a supremely stupid idea, and Tikki barely even argues about it. She’s like, “No, don’t...” then never tries to change Mari’s mind again. Also, this isn’t some soundproof barrier Mari is behind. The girls CAN hear this! Plagg is more reasonable when Adrien plans to take his ring off and pops out of the bag like, “I HOPE YOUR KIDDING!!” In the most condescending parent tone ever and I wouldn’t do it if I was Adrien. Plagg is horrified when Adrien just does it anyway and immediately walks out. All girls say they look fabulous (except Juleka, but we aren’t supposed to care about her opinion... -.-) Did they even say this to Juleka? All these girls are horribly awful friends to Juleka this episode. This is such a disrespect to the original Reflekta. Also, Adrien looks gorgeous in it, yeah, but Mari looks kind of awkward in it? The shirt specifically doesn’t compliment her torso at all. Mari is the shade of a tomato and basically calls Adrien hot but saves herself by saying its too hot. Alya decides to take the photoshoot outside, still not consulting Marinette and contradicting what she said earlier about Mari being more comfortable with Adrien in her own environment. All the girls start trying to leave but when Rose tries dragging Juleka along she won’t budge. She says she doesn’t want to go. Mari asks why. Rose suggests staying with her (YES, PLEASE DO) but Juleka insists Rose go because “tired, need to study” which are very weak excuses. Mari asks if she is sure but FREAKING ALYA SAYS THEY HAVE 30 MINUTES LEFT so Mari is just like, okay then. Rose kisses her girlfriend on the cheek and tells her she’ll see her after. Okay, 1. It seriously could not have taken Mari and Adrien half a freaking hour to change. 2. I am very mad they are all so willing to leave Juleka after this. Yes, she may need her alone time, as most people do but it not a good idea to just leave someone completely alone after an anxiety attack as they could have a mental breakdown or worse, consider harming themselves. It is best to stay near them but give their space to breathe and calm down as the extra attention on them can make them extra anxious. When you need alone time it is best to do it when you know the situation is toxic for you and you just need space to breathe again and clear your mind. The others just leave without even seeming worried about her (except Mari and Rose, thank goodness for Mari and Rose). They literally just ditched their friend who is clearly in need of comfort and is very upset and will most likely have an akuma come after her... I am SO MAD ABOUT THIS! Rose and Mari are the only ones that I’m willing to really excuse. I barely excuse Adrien but its only because the dude doesn’t even know what anxiety really is since his parents were useless and didn’t let him get to know how people work. I’m still mad at him but this show barely focuses on him so... what did I expect... -.- Okay, now that, that rant is over; They leave. Juleka gives Rose this really cute flirty look as she leaves which is great but does not save that rage inducing scene. So Juleka puts the blame on herself. If only she didn’t have that anxiety attack... This is very toxic thinking and if her friends had just supported her this may not have caused such a bad reaction but they choose to ignore her in favor of making their ship sail. She honestly believes that she ruins everything which is a very depressed way of thinking. Juleka is seriously depressed individual. This type of thinking isn’t healthy. If you find yourself thinking this constantly then PLEASE seek help! This show tries to tell us that it is useless to get any help because no one will help but PLEASE DO NOT listen to it! THERE ARE people who will help you! The way you feel is okay! You are allowed to feel! Juleka is allowed to feel! Unsurprisingly, Hawkmoth akumatizes her into Reflekta again and Mayura gives her an amok which is Reflekdoll. Wow, what a surprise. I totally didn’t see that coming... -.- Mayura’s transformation annoys me because Nathalie just keeps throwing her freaking glasses. That’s a lot of glasses wasted. Why the heck? YOU’RE GOING TO NEED THOSE ONCE YOUR DONE COUGHING! Also, yet again Hawkmoth doesn’t care that Nathalie could die. >:/ Cut to Gorilla picking Adrien and the girls up. Gorilla ain’t too keen on this idea because he doesn’t want to lose his job but he gives in to all their adorable faces and the fact he cares about Adrien. Also, how many seat belts does the back of Adrien’s car HAVE? So Reflekdoll is this giant mechanical doll with the power to shoot laser beams out of its mouth that can turn everyone in its path into a copy of Reflekta. Alrighty. Fine. Whatever. Also this thing is standing on top of Mari’s room and somehow not crushing it under its weight, nor did the room break when it grew out of it. >.> Cut to the photoshoot of Mari and Adrien where they are looking fabulous. BUT OH NO, REFLEKDOLL HAS SHOWN UP (I’m for once rooting for the akumatized victim this time, to be honest). Oh, that’s right... this is supposed to be a video and not a photoshoot? >.> Can we take a few moments to ask why the heck Hawkmoth would want to use Reflekta again, considering that anyone wearing a miraculous morphs into her image, getting rid of the actual miraculous... >.> And Reflekta doesn’t even have a reverse option so what the heck? Rose screams, “I’m sorry, Juleka! I should have stayed with you!” NO DUH? REALLY? Reflekta says some self-deprecating stuff about herself, or rather, Juleka. Mari and Adrien try to transform but then realize they massively screwed up. Also, they still scream their transformation phrases... -.- Cut to the kwamis in the car, whom don’t seem to hear the giant footsteps of Reflekdoll. Plagg is happy about getting to relax and eat cheese. Tikki thinks its gross. The Gorilla notices that the kids are in danger and immediately jumps into action to save Adrien. We don’t deserve the Gorilla. I bet he would have comforted Juleka. Both Adrien and Mari bolt it to the car but are surprised to find the other there. Adrien tells Mari to hide in the car and Mari is like, “What about you, you moron?” Like this is some life or death situation? Luckily Adrien doesn’t have to come up with an excuse because Reflekdoll finds them. For some reason she’s only mad at Marinette for stealing her limelight and not Adrien? I mean, he was part of it... Also, yeah Mari wasn’t exactly the best in that scene but she was trying to let you explain IT WAS FREAKING ALYA WHO WOULDN’T LET YOU EXPLAIN! Mari gets turned into a Reflekta clone and Adrien tries opening the trunk (somehow the kwamis still don’t freaking hear this?) but Reflekdoll picks the car up and yeets it before turning Adrien into a Reflekta clone too. Somehow the impact knocks the trunk of the car open even though that has never happened before when other akuma victims threw cars. Tikki panics at the outcome and looks like she’s about to lose it but ironically Plagg takes the lead and says, “We gotta find our miraculouses first!” Plagg immediately finds the ring and its cool to see it immediately transforms into the actual Chat ring when he touches it. Plagg tells Tikki to stay focused and that everything will alright before flying off to find Adrien. Then there’s that moment everyone gets mad at the miraculous team for where Reflekta calls Rose her bff instead of her gf. Look, for once this isn’t the miraculous team’s fault. Homo relationships are just illegal in China and Russia and since this is an international airing show they make sure none of that stuff is shown in such shows. (Thank you to @riallasheng​ for correcting me). Please stop blaming the team for that. Anyway, so Plagg is flying around screaming for Chat Noir. Yeah, that’s a smart idea, clearly. Mari stops and looks up and Plagg thinks it is Adrien. Plagg actually says Adrien’s name to her so thank goodness for that weird enchantment. She asks like 3 questions and Plagg says its a long story but Mari won’t even let him explain, she just freaking grabs the ring and transforms. WOW, MARI!! Okay, look, the Lady Noir transformation is cool and everything but I do not like how the Chat masks looks on her. Not because of the eyes. The eyes are fine, just the nose part specifically. She looks wrong and creeps me out. Tikki finally finds the earrings and then goes to hide because she hears someone coming. Lady Noir freaking wacks the giant doll with her baton extended to unnatural lengths. Apparently she’s just immediately badass. Fine, I’m used to that. Whatever. I know that annoyed everyone else but I’m so used to this by now I don’t even care. XD Tikki flies back over to Adrien and says, “There’s been a mix up. Names Tikki. Nice to meet ya.” Then here come literally the only reason I watched this freaking episode. We get Adribug. Because I freaking hate Mister Bug as a name I shall call him either Lordbug and/or Adribug throughout this entire thing. So Adrien transforms into Adribug and well I love his costume (especially the feet) I hate the way the Chat hair rig looks on him. I wish they just went with Adrien’s hair rig. ;-; I love how his suit is more shiny like armor. I love him. They both give each other their names and while Lady Noir gets something awesome sounding (which I know she’s just given that name to try and make the name ladynoir as ship useless) Adribug is just screwed over. -.- Adribug tries using the yo-yo and immediately just smacks himself in the face. Again, I’m used to Chat being treated like a useless moron by this show. It’s annoying, sure, but whatever. If you expect me to go on for hours about how unfair that is you came to the wrong place. Also, why were people so weirded out by Adrien being able to wear earrings? He’s a model... of course his ears are pierced? >.> Anyway, so Adribug says something about “now I gotta catch two akumas” and Lady Noir is like, “You freaking moron. It’s an akuma and an amok.” I’m still freaking mad about Mayura basically being a recolor of Hawkmoth.  Lady Noir suggests they switch back and Adribug is like, “Nah, I got this.” He’s about to call for lucky charm but Lady Noir stops him because “it’s too early, you don’t know enough about your opponent yet”. Excuse me? When did that matter? She’s literally never really needed to know how the victim works to use her lucky charm. >.> Adribug is like, “It’s Reflekta controlling a giant doll.” She’s like, “You don’t know where the akuma and amok are, though.” So, he doesn’t actually need to know anything about his opponent? You were just lying then? He only really needs to know where the amok and akuma are... Adribug correctly assumes the akuma got in her bracelet which makes perfect sense. That’s how these stupid repeat akumas work. Lady Noir for some reason, doubts that, though. Adribug thinks he needs a mirror to reflect her beam back at her but Lady Noir is like, “the lucky charm doesn’t just give you what you want.” Personally I think that plan is cool idea but makes no sense considering what is the beam gonna do? It makes more sense if he meant to reflect it away from them (poor citizens who get hit). So the best joke in this episode is when Lordbug calls lucky charm and actually gets a mirror. The look on Lady Noir’s face almost makes watching this worth it. Reflekdoll starts climbing the Eiffel Tower trying to get to the duo. Adribug reflects the beam back at Reflekta with his mirror. It does nothing, really. Lady Noir is like “Nice going, moron.” Adribug tries to explain his reasoning but she’ll have none of listening to him and just tells him how she does it but... She’s a different person that him... What if he does have a different way of doing it? Why the heck would you be this freaking rude when he’s just learning. I know those Adrien haters out there are like, “Well, at least she’s getting him back.” But here’s the difference, she doesn’t let him figure it out, she still tells him  what to do when he should be allowed to learn not be shunned for not knowing how it exactly works. She should be supporting him, not making fun of him. Chat does not make fun of Ladybug (besides at the beginning of this episode which I still call bs on). Yeah, he jokes and flirts in battle, occasionally teases her. But he NEVER makes fun of her for not knowing how to do something for messing up. NO! He SUPPORTS her and HELPS her figure it out instead of just doing it all for her. Needless to say, I am very angry about how she treats Adribug this entire episode. It’s horribly rude, uncalled for, and so disrespectful towards her partner. Not to mention, after this she smacks him on the head with her baton which made me even angrier with her. I hate when she hits Chat when he messes up. It isn’t funny and no, he doesn’t deserve it, even if he can be an a-hole. I know its supposed to be a “cute sibling thing” but they aren’t near close enough for this no matter how badly the people behind it want me to believe that and it’s one thing to use your hands and just lightly hurt them, it’s another to grab an object and just hit them on the head. It’s really freaking annoying. She always hits him on the head. Here’s a thought, maybe he doesn’t work so well with you because he has minor brain damage from you constantly giving him blows to the head? -.- So Adribug states what I just said earlier, “WHY DON’T YOU TRY HELPING ME INSTEAD OF MAKING FUN OF ME?” And I would have forgiven her if she just laughed and decided to start helping him and dropped this charade because maybe she did just need to teach him a lesson but no. She continues teasing him despite he NEVER does this to her. She goes, “Sounds like Buggaboy doesn’t have a sense of humor!” Alright, I’m starting to believe Chat. You really don’t freaking know what humor is because that isn’t funny at all and is just really mean. But fine, whatever. Adribug at least gets a nice line in, “Sounds like your wearing the clown costume now.” Yeah, I agree, except the clown she is specifically mimicking is Pennywise. XD So she throws his earlier line back at him, like a moron. She then calls for cataclysm and tries to cataclysm Reflekdoll but it just makes it go berserk. They expect me to believe this is equal to how Adribug messes up. It isn’t. Unlike Adribug, Lady Noir had never seen an example of cataclysm used on a senti-monster. She literally didn’t mess up, really because she didn’t know. Adribug didn’t even know, which is why he didn’t stop her. She asks if that’s normal and Adribug like, “Heck if I know. Never done that before.” With this really annoyed expression on his face which I think he has a right to have. He basically says it made it worse so now they gotta figure out how to stop the stupid thing. Lady Noir is like, “So, you like playing with dolls?” Adribug is like, “Hey! You stole my line!” Which is pretty much the only good thing to come out of Lady Noir. Mayura asks Hawkmoth if she should call the amok back but Hawkmoth is like, “Nah, chaos can be a good ally.” Alright, sure, yeah, okay. Lady Noir throws her baton at Reflekdoll’s eye, keeping the eye lid open. By this point you think they would climb inside and figure out how to turn this thing off... HA! NO! Adribug pulls Reflekta out of it and then they run away from it, like gosh darn freaking morons. Somehow after doing that now Lady Noir is holding Reflekta? I went back 2 times and literally could not find where they made this switch. >.> Reflekta tries turning them into copies of her for some reason but Adribug uses the yo-yo to break her braclet thing and the akuma flies out. Adribug is proud of himself but Lady Noir reminds him to catch the akuma (seriously, how did he forget about that? I know Chat is supposed to be dumb but come on...). He also said they looked pretty good in their costumes and I think he look great (even the hair is growing on me) but Lady Noir doesn’t look right to me at all. I really love her braid, though. He’s like, “I always wanted to do this.” And captures the butterfly. OMD IT IS SO FREAKING CUTE! I’M NOT CRYING... Juleka is back but is comically turned into a Reflekta copy immediately. XD Adribug almost does the miraculous ladybug thing before Lady Noir stops. (SERIOUSLY, HE IS NOT THIS DUMB, THIS IS JUST INSULTING). Now, because Adribug doesn’t have that arbitrary lady vision (which is really stupid because he has his own version in Oblivio and if it really is just a Mari talent that means all the other past Ladybug’s that didn’t have that talent were literally screwed because they couldn’t use their lucky charms so its amazing the Ladybug miraculous has lasted this long...) he can’t find the right way to use the mirror. Which is still annoying. I feel like he could find his own way to use it, but fine, whatever. He says, “I admit, its not easy being a super Ladybug.” And what does Lady Noir say? “And I admit I like wearing your costume! It’s a lot lighter on the shoulders!” THAT’S IT! THIS IS THE WORST THING SHE COULD SAY! THIS WAS SO MEAN AND UNCALLED FOR!! IF YOU REALLY THINK CHAT NOIR’S ROLE IS SO MUCH EASIER THAN KEEP THE DUMB OUTFIT YOU UNGRATEFUL JERK! I just- UGH. I know this really isn’t Ladybug talking. Ladybug is normally a lot nicer to her partner (besides occasionally forgetting about him)... This is such a disservice to her character and made me pretty much hate Mari for a long time. Another reason I hate this episode. Adribug says he’d never be able to do it without her, I wish she said something similar. She doesn’t because who cares about Chat, I guess? Also...

Seriously, am I the only one who finds her slightly terrifying looking? Also, her braid works exactly like Chat’s belt, down to it disappearing randomly for some reason. XD Oh wait, no, it was just hiding behind her. XD So they decide to figure out how to use the mirror which is shaped like a giant coin. Remember that. Oh hey, she insults him again going, “Your a simple, straight-forward guy.” He isn’t too happy with that description. I wouldn’t be either. That’s so mean. Seriously, can you stop being a jerk for 5 seconds and just focus on the problem? Even Chat has a less need to joke and flirt than you do to be mean... She admits her plans are convoluted but forgets to mention how logic breaking they are and so overly complicated. So there’s this weird giant coin looking slot on the back of Reflekdoll’s head, they decide to jump over there and they decide to use the mirror like a screwdriver to unscrew the thing. Lady Noir trips the giant doll with her baton and Adribug ties it up with his yo-yo. He says something about asking for giant coin if he had known but she’s like, “There’s no way of knowing in advance.” Which is fair. They notice the steering is made up of a giant hair clip so now they know what to break. Adribug captures the amok and says the stupid “bye bye little feather” line which I hate. It’s so stupid. I would explain why I hate it but I have ranted enough during this episode. Adribug does “miraculous mister bug” and everything gets fixed. When did Tom get a white shirt? They “pound it” and Hawkmoth is so annoyed but Mayura says that they are a duo now, so they are stronger and they will win in the end. They detransform AND I FORGOT DUUSU SHOWS UP IN THIS EPISODE! I LOVE HER SO MUCH! SHE’S SO CUTE! She thinks that it was awesome so she had the mind of a child? Okay? I’m going to assume she’s still a relatively young kwami. Nathalie collapses into coughs and Duusu feels bad. Gabe tells her Nathalie is fine “she’s just tired”. Duusu gets happier, Gabe tells her to shut up. Cut to Adribug and Lady Noir running on rooftops. Adribug is like, “I see why you have no time to make jokes.” But... but she does make jokes? Not as much as you but a lot... she flirts, too. She literally always has time to joke. What the heck? Lady Noir is like, “Looks like we both have our rolls, Buggaboy.” Yeah, mind telling me what Chat’s is? Because apparently he is just the comic relief and we actually don’t freaking need him. They separate and detransform. Adrien gives Tikki some Camembert and this is it, my favorite kwami and my favorite miraculous holder together. QWQ I like that their jewlery looks different when not powered up from each other. Adrien gives the earrings back and is like, “See ya soon, Tikki.” Tikki is like, “Good-bye Adrien.” And that’s it. I have waited years for the moment they would interact and that’s all they freaking gave me... T-T Mari gives Plagg a macaroon and is like, “Bye Plagg, that was fun!” She hands the ring over. Plagg is like, “Sure was! No better way to escape the boredom of daily life!” I wish he chewed her out for her mistreatment of his holder but he’s too sweet. Both kwamis go back to their respective holders and while Tikki and Mari’s is a touching reunion what makes Plagg and Adrien’s annoying is Adrien saying, “You can count on me, Plagg! I’ll never take off my miraculous again! I’m not cut out to be Ladybug, that’s for sure.” Plagg doesn’t even object or say he’s a good Chat Noir. Look, he would have been fine with practice. He just messed up like Mari did when she first became Ladybug and she became cut out. Who says he can’t be Ladybug? So cut to the girls finally comforting Juleka. Mari rushes in and stops that. Juleka is rightfully annoyed. Mari apologizes for pretty much nothing. But Juleka is happy she offered to let her model again. Adrien runs up, happy, but is promptly stopped by the Gorilla since time is up. Mari asks if Adrien has anymore time left and Adrien asks the Gorilla. I presume because he gets to be in a picture he lets them. Juleka gets to model (and she’s great at it). Marinette was apparently taking all the pictures even though if anyone should be in the photos for HER website it should be HER. We get happy music as it goes to the end card.

This episodes starts on an adorable note where Adrien and Plagg are playing happy music on the piano together. Plagg’s got some talent, might I add. But that’s all rudely interrupted by Nathalie who has come to take Adrien to a wax museum to get his wax figure fixed. But Adrien ain’t all that down to go to a boring wax museum all alone so he coaxes Nathalie into letting him invite some friends. :D Oh my… we seem to have cut to a Dance Dance Revelotion commercial… JUST KIDDING! Actually Nino and Alya are playing a game very similar to it and man do they got them moves. But that’s interrupted by Nino getting a call by none other than Adrien. They talk faster than the speed of light but Adrien invites Nino along and Nino is totally down but Alya ain’t for it. I guess she can’t let the bros have a little fun. I mean, I saw your scores, guys. You’ve been at it for a while. Let the two have some bromance. Alya suddenly has a better idea. She could third wheel! I mean, sure… Okay, fine. But then it gets better because after Adrien asks Nathalie if Alya can come too Alya decides, no we need a fourth wheel! Huh… wonder who she’s gonna call… Could it be… Marinette? I really didn’t see that coming. :D Now, as best friends do, she doesn’t let Marinette get a word in edge wise and basically accepts her invitation for her. You know, the invitation that was only meant for Nino in the beginning? Yeah, that. Nino asks if Mari can come along and colossally fails at avoiding mentioning they could do stuff as a couple while Alya and him do stuff as a couple. He even mentions, “So you can stare at the… uh… statues together! Marinette loves… statues.” This seems like a very insignificant detail, but I assure you, it is extremely important. So Adrien asks for yet another friend to come and you can see Nathalie losing her patience BUT WAIT, IT GETS BETTER. You see, Marinette is babysitting Manon this fine accursed  day. So now you bet they bring Manon along. That’s just what we needed. :D  Now were in  Adrien’s car, Adrien in the front seat, which must be odd for him but a nice change. The rest of them are in the back. As usual, Marinette is creepily admiring the back of Adrien’s head. Honestly, who wouldn’t? It’s such a unique nightmare to draw. She’s probably studying real hard to make sure she gets it right and I do not blame her… too much. Alya is whispering her plans for operation Adrienette to Nino but Manon is having none of that AND FREAKING SCREAMS THEIR PLANS OF LEAVING HER ALONE WITH ADRIEN!! But don’t worry, Adrien has them ironically covered with, “Don’t worry, Manon. They’re boyfriend and girlfriend. They probably want some alone time together which is why they are leaving us alone.” YAY, ADRIEN! Manon is confused because she thought the opposite, that Mari and Adrien were a couple and mentions the photos that Mari is for some reason freaked out about even though he already knows about them. *cough* TROUBLEMAKER *cough* But yet again, Adrien has her back with, “That’s because she loves fashion and I’m a fashion model.” WOO ADRIEN! SAVING ALL THEIR BUTTS UNKNOWINGLY! But then the hearts on the pictures are mentioned and instead of coming up with a believable excuse, Mari comes up with some dumb thing about upside down spades. You could just go with, “I like hearts, and wanted to see how they would fit in the design,” “I was putting hearts on the outfits I like” or “I doodle hearts on things when I’m anxious”. YOU KNOW, ANYTHING BESIDES THAT Marinette is now mad that Nino knows even though it really should have been obvious and why the heck would she not tell her boyfriend, the person she is supposed to trust? But Alya, instead of owning up to this because she is somehow scared of Marinette, decides to elbow Nino into lying about not knowing which only makes it more suspicious, nice going Alya. But Nino of course gives it away because he cannot lie but luckily for us, Marinette is unnaturally dumb this episode and despite Nino outright telling her he knows she is still unsure. Meanwhile, Manon is confused because she apparently, somehow, can’t hear anything with Mari covering her ears. So then they admit to nothing and we cut to possibly the most beautiful animated extra in this show I have ever seen. Apparently this is the person in charge of the wax museum. And it’s revealed that the reason why Adrien is here isn’t to just fix his statue… Nooooo… He’s actually there to cast a new part for his statue because SOMEONE STOLE IT FOR SOME REASON?  Alya is giving Nino terrible advice for Operation Adrienette by telling him to deny EVERYTHING Adrien asks. Yeah, this will go well. Everyone has been wacked with the idiot stick this episode. Manon sees a wax figure of Jagged Stone and is upset he won’t respond to her but the nice extra explains he is only a statue and we avoid a catastrophe, thank goodness.  Now the extra goes into the history of the museum and NO one wants to listen to that so Adrien is like, “So, guess you want me out of the way for some one on one time with the gf? *wink wink* *nudge nudge*” BUT HEY, THAT TERRIBLE ADVICE POPS INTO NINO’S HEAD AND INSTEAD OF GOING WITH THIS BRILLIANT EXCUSE ADRIEN SET UP FOR HIM HE DEFLECTS! Adrien goes, “Nice you came to keep me company, then.” He also denies that and now Adrien is understandable confused, as am I. If you can feel the frustration leaking through my finger tips as I type this right now, congrats. Now, for some reason, Alya thinks Nino is doing an excellent job backing himself into a corner. But, OH NO NINO GAINS CONFIDENCE AND STARTS TEASING, WE CAN’T HAVE THAT! So now Alya is like, “ZIP IT OR SO HELP ME” and Nino fears for his life. :D Adrien, oh Adrien, goes, “I’m confused. Marinette wants to be alone with me?” BET YOU CAN’T GUESS WHAT HAPPENS NEXT :D Yeah, so this goes on a for a while and its torture. Kill me. But for some reason this leads to Adrien thinking Marinette hates him, I guess? Alright. What’s this, why are we rewinding? Why is this happening? What does this mean? OH, OH GREAT, I GET TO EXPERIENCE THIS ALL OVER AGAIN BUT WITH THE GIRLS  :’D Oh wait, so Mari isn’t dumb after all and she caught onto the very obvious clues Nino gave that he knows. For some reason Alya STILL tries to deny this. ALYA, JUST STOP. Oh and hey, somehow Alya can hear this whole conversation Nino is having with Adrien but Marinette can’t despite being THE SAME DISTANCE AWAY! Marinette is not down for Operation Adrienette, as always. Alya is having none of it. Is this scene done yet? OH YAY, FINALLY I GET TO WITNESS THAT AWKWARD AS HECK ELEVATOR RIDE Oh hey, its the wax workshop! So that guy who was Copycat really gets around, huh? Also, he says, “So, I hear we have to do your hand again.” Again? AGAIN? WHO IS STEALING WAX ADRIEN’S HANDS AND WHY? WHY WOULD YOU STEAL A WAX HAND? And, nice, a Thomas Astruc head to haunt my dreams, beard made of genuine yak hair. :D Adrien has to stick his hand in a box so they can get the cast and um… I wonder what the feels like? Anyway, so the wax workers leave for no reason, because plot. Nino scares Manon and chases her around and its so cute. Man, Nino would make a great dad. Now Manon is in the mood to play so Alya and Nino finally put operation Adrienette into action (do they even do this much work for their own relationship?) where they ditch Mari and leave her alone with Adrien, hand still stuck in a box, as she screams, “DON’T LEAVE ME ALONE WITH HIM” Which, you know, isn’t suspicious and hurtful at all to the boy your screaming about. So Marinette freaks out, gets clumsy when Adrien asks if Mari is upset with him. She’s like, “no, I am desperately in love with you”JUST KIDDING :D She fumbles over her words. : D Adrien mentions Nino said stuff and Mari denies anything Nino said with the most seriousness I have ever heard from her and Adrien is pretty relieved about that, as one would be. “Glad you still like me.” And Mari massively screws this up so Adrien it still left thinking she hates him and oh ain’t this a wonderful episode guys?  Mari excuses herself to the lady’s room and Adrien is left feeling sad but don’t worry, Plagg cheers him up by POSSESSING A FEATURELESS MANNEQUIN HEAD AND MUMBLING SOMETHING ABOUT GIRLS AND CHEESE AND ADRIEN FINDS THIS FUNNY BUT I FIND IT HORRIFYING!!  Now, I’m thinking an akuma is gonna pop up and Adrien’s gonna be stuck in a box or his ring will be stuck but nah, as soon as the timer goes off Adrien just pulls his hand right out of there… somehow? That’s… that’s not how a mold works? I don’t think… Does it? Someone who knows wax please tell me.  So now Adrien is determined to be a good friend to Marinette again, meanwhile, Nino and Alya are playing statue hide and seek with Manon. It’s adorable but I have no idea how this kid can stay stiller than a statue… >.> Unfortunately Alya is distracted by the Lady Wifi statue they have for some reason… WHO DOES THIS? WHY WOULD YOU MAKE WAX STATUES OF THE VILLAINS AND NOT EVEN ASK THE PEOPLE WHO WERE THOSE VILLAINS? THIS COULD CAUSE TRAUMA YOU HORRIBLE PEOPLE! And OBVIOUSLY, Alya is saddened by the sight but Nino will have none of his girlfriend being sad and cheers her up before tickling her and she wants revenge so she chases after him. It’s really cute. Nino’s a sweetheart. Alya said it was weird to see herself as a super villain and Nino basically said, “You aren’t looking at it, right. These aren’t super villains… These are people Ladybug and Chat Noir saved.” I know some of you would really appreciate that so I made sure to mention it. Anyway, they forget about Manon, who is ticked but don’t worry someone is happy… That someone being Hawkmoth who takes advantage of this angry little girl. What a plot twist. :D So we cut back to Mari in the bathroom where Tikki proceeds to offer some terrible advice to Mari by telling her to pretend to be someone else. WHY ARE ALL OF THEM SO STUPID THIS EPISODE? Mari is going to pretend to be someone who is very confident and not afraid to do anything and… I’m sorry? Has she forgotten she’s Ladybug? She doesn’t have to pretend, just channel your inner Ladybug? Outside the bathroom Adrien decides to pretend to be a wax statue to prank Mari and cheer her up like Plagg always does with him AND DO YOU SEE WHERE THIS GOING YET OR DO I NEED TO SPELL IT OUT FOR YOU? So yes, Mari believes Adrien is a statue despite knowing the actual wax Adrien is still missing a hand. And Tikki doesn’t come out this whole time which makes me think she knows this is actually Adrien which is even sadder.  So what does Mari do you, ask? Oh, I’m so glad you asked. :D She takes a nice long sniff of him then proceeds to touch this “art figure” repeatedly and does she not know human oils ruin wax? Do you even care? And then she plucks a hair from this “statue”’s head. Meanwhile, Adrien watches on in horror. You think he would call this prank off by now but no, he’s in way too deep. However, he does draw the line when she tries to kiss the statue on the lips, where he breaks character and Marinette is humiliated. But I mean, really Marinette? Wax feels MUCH different than human skin, 1. 2: This is an art piece you shouldn’t be touching. 3. WHY WOULD A WAX STATUE SMELL LIKE ADRIEN? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU, HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT HE SMELLS LIKE? DON’T ANSWER THAT. So, if that weren’t bad enough, Nino is a prophet. Told you that was important. :’D Cut back to Alya completely done with hiding and searches for her boyfriend only to find he is frozen by Lady Wifi and now she is captured by The Bubbler and Lady Wifi. Back to Mari and Adrien. So, Mari goes off to cry, Adrien feels bad and explains his reasoning and asks if she really meant it when she said she loved him but Mari says she knew he was joking so she played along despite the fact she just yelled at him moments ago for scaring the heck out of her but who should interrupt them but… HAWKMOTH? Nah, it’s just Waxmoth whom looks exactly like Hawkmoth despite no one knows the true colors of Hawkmoth besides the superheroes and I doubt Chloe would care to tell the wax people what he looks like so this confuses me. :D But don’t worry, Adrien uses his amazing fencing tactics to save Mari and they realize Puppeteer is reborn. Mari runs off to transform into Ladybug. Adrien almost dies but Ladybug saves him and then he runs off and transforms into Chat. Thank goodness I didn’t have to watch their transformation sequences AGAIN. Chat, brilliant at acting, pretends to think Ladybug captured Hawkmoth but nah, she just kills this wax statue by slicing into 3 pieces with her yo-yo, honestly it is terrifying. So SOMEHOW Ladybug knows that Wax Wifi and Wax Bubbler plan to ambush them and saves their behinds despite never being in this room so she wouldn’t know there was a Bubbler or LadyWifi statue. But at least they’re good. They see Wax Puppeteer and realize real Puppeteer took Wax Puppeteer’s wand. YAY Unfortunately all the Wax figures begin to attack… NOOOO For some reason these Wax figures have robot sound effects, because that makes sense. They immediately start kicking butt. And for some reason, FOR SOME REASON, Ladybug considers this a perfect time to ask Chat about love advice. He flirts and she goes, “How the heck do you do that.” And Chat has no idea what the freak she is talking about so she asks how the heck he can even say these things to her without messing up because “the important things are the hardest to say” and Chat goes, “When something is important, it is important to say it, no matter what.” BUT FLIRTS AREN’T IMPORTANT, WHY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THIS YOU MORONS! FOCUS ON FIGHTING! They defeat all the statues but now an onslaught of eyeballs and Thomas Astruc’s head are coming after them and its terrifying, I hate it. Luckily, Ladybug freaking stomps on Astruc’s head to get past them, unfortunately, turns out the wax figures aren’t dead and they all pile on Chat and Astruc’s head tries to suck his ring off………. THAT’S RIGHT YOU HEARD ME ASTRUC’S DISEMBODIED HEAD TRIES SUCKING CHAT NOIR’S (A 14 YEAR OLD) RING OFF HIS FINGER!! I AM NOT OKAY!! THIS WILL FOREVER HAUNT ME! But wait, Chat somehow is with Ladybug? How? He couldn’t be a wax figure? Could he? *gasp* Yes, Ladybug does not find it at all weird Chat Noir is oddly quiet. Chat Noir… the superhero known for constantly joking, flirting, and punning in battle… SILENT…  Ladybug calls her lucky charm and finds nothing in her area that connects to it. It’s a carboard tube, btw. That’s right, instead of just going with a stick or something, they call this a cardboard tube. They find Puppeteer and Ladybug is oddly proud of her partner for season 3 Ladybug, but don’t worry, its crushed by the betrayal of Wax Noir. WHICH DESPITE KNOWING THAT SHE IS IN A MUSEUM FULL OF WAX STATUES OF FAMOUS PEOPLE AND THAT PUPPETEER COMMANDS CHAT NOIR TO ATTACK HER IT STILL TAKES HER A FEW SECONDS TO PUT 2 AND 2 TOGETHER!!  Cut back to actual Chat, whom has defeated all the statues and yes I am very angry I did not get to see Chat smash that wax Astruc head in with his boot… Also, Waxbug was apparently behind him the whole time despite me not being able to see her. Anyway, we all know Chat has to be dumb this season so of course he thinks this is the real Ladybug and she tries to kiss him while slipping off his ring but the only thing that stops her is the fact she smelled too strongly of wax so Chat basically Thanosed her and I thought it was cool as heck. Also, we all know if Ladybug was really about to kiss him he would not be flirting, he would be moving in slowly. Chat’s need to flirt saves his behind and I find that hilarious. Cut back to actual Ladybug who almost got Puppeteer’s wand but the statues saved Puppeteer and she got her wand back. Now the wax people attack but no worries because… “HER BOYFRIEND’S BACK AND YOU’RE GONNA GET IN TROUBLE”. It was seriously a song worthy moment when Chat freaking kills Wax Noir. Oh, and Chat Noir’s belt was missing in this scene for some reason? Chat asks about the lucky charm but no worries, LB has got this. She sees glue, paint, paint brushes, and wax stars. GEEE, I WONDER WHAT SHE IS GONNA DO So now LB is captured by Wax Noir, or they want us to believe that, right? We all know it’s Chat acting, which may I say, was pretty good but was some of Chat’s worst acting. And yes, she made a fake wand. Yes, she pretends she has the real one and yes Puppeteer falls for this and demands LB give her the wand OR SHE’LL FREAKING KILLS THIS INNOCENT CIVILIAN BY DROPPING HIM INTO DANGEROUSLY HOT LEVELS OF LIQUID WAX… MAY I REMIND YOU THIS IS A KIDS SHOW AND THIS IS A KID PLANNING TO MURDER THIS GUY IF LB DOESN’T COMPLY!! Don’t worry, LB hands over the “real wand” and Puppeteer finds out it is fake but too late, LB breaks the wand and fixes everything. May I just say it would’ve been hilarious if LB grabbed the wrong wand and destroyed the fake one first. Anyway, Hawkmoth is a sore loser, as usual. Cut to seeing Adrien’s statue in the museum, completed and Manon pretending to be a statue again before trying to scare all of them, but don’t worry, they all pretend to be scared because none of them want to be dropped into hot freaking lava wax.

Now you’d think it would end here. You’d think my misery would be over. YOU WOULD BE WRONG Adrien drops off Manon, Nino, and Alya. Now its just him and Mari in uncomfortable silence. They both apologize, Adrien explains himself, Mari lies explains herself. Mari says they shouldn’t play jokes on each other anymore, to be safe. Adrien is like, “Yeah, the girl I love says my jokes are horrible too…” Then Mari gets really sad and Adrien is oblivious, as usual. She hugs herself in silence which must have been awkward as heck. Mari heads home, we see her in bed sad, looking like she might tear her Adrien shrine down. Tikki is like, “Life has many surprises for ya, don’t give up, I’ve waited years for this.” May be paraphrased~ Mari is like, “Yeah, would’ve been a horrible first kiss anyway,” as she touches her lips as the happy end music plays which completely throws off the mood. Then we get the end card… oh the end card…

Okay so this episode starts out with Ladybug passed out in an elevator and she’s just waking up and looking around and sees this drawing of a phone and an arrow pointing to a tortoise made in lipstick on one of the walls. It’s honestly an adorable sketch. She finds she was holding the lipstick and she seems horrified. HMMM... Turns out Chat Noir is in this elevator too, convenient but he seems confused. He has no idea who the heck Ladybug is and scares the heck out of her. May I just say, confusion isn’t normally a face we see on Chat and its the cutest freaking thing whenever he does express it.  OH NO, GASPS, LADYBUG DOESN’T KNOW WHO SHE IS!! HOPEFULLY CHAT HAS SOM- Oh no, he doesn’t remember who he is either... I also like that he looks down at his suit and immediately assumes they went to the same costume party which makes sense since they are together but also, his suit is so different from hers so he basically only had the fact they were together as a clue. XD But, wait no, it gets better. You see, the miraculouses start beeping and Ladybug freaks out but Chat is like, “We must shop at the same jewelry store” and it won’t matter how many times I hear this I will always laugh at it. OH NO, THEY DETRANSFORMED AND NOW TIKKI AND PLAGG ARE OUT! Marinette is terrified (calling them bug/mice), Adrien is intrigued. It’s perfect. Then Adrien asks if Plagg is a genie and for those of you who are familiar with origins, you can see the cute little correlations here. But also as soon as Tikki says she’s hungry, Mari is no longer terrified which on one hand, I dislike, because it happened so fast, but on another it’s cool because it makes it seem like part of her sort of remembers that Tikki is good. Oh, and Plagg sniffing Adrien’s shirt because he smells the Camembert... magnificent.  Anyway, something starts breaking into the elevator. but from the severe movement it looked more like when Adrien stood up and hit his head on the ceiling really hard, but then it cuts to the elevator ceiling and something trying to break into it. However, I choose to believe The elevator is just really tiny and Adrien stood up and, with the power of his head, dislodged the elevator. However, that’s my opinion. So Plagg thinks he and Tikki are awesome, but the humans suck. Tikki goes to figure out how to save them and phases through the elevator buttons and it sounds like she messes with some sort of control panel? I have questions... So whatever tried to break in, got in but just as the doors closed which is... convenient. But don’t worry, our memory-less humans aren’t dumb and they run. Somehow they managed to already make it to the first floor and you’ll find out why I find that so weird when we get farther along in this thing but anyway... the exit is blocked by severe damage of everything but instead of freaking out about the severe damage this is in and there’s nothing that could really do that, they kind of just go, “oh, its blocked. Gotta find another way”. I mean, excuse me? I think I would be a little concerned if I saw that! Now something tries to break through more of the elevators again, which is still funny to me considering that Oblivio got out of one elevator, saw he was on the second or third floor (based on how fast our heroes got to the first) and was like, “Dang, didn’t catch them. Better get back in the elevator.” Am I the only one who finds this funny? There’s STAIRS you know? Anyway, they run to hide in the bathroom and Marinette relays everything we already know so, thanks, I guess? Oh wait, Adrien does the same. Wow, we get it, guys. I know this for new viewers and all but I can’t help but find it a bit pandering. But don’t worry, Plagg says he’s hungry so he asks Adrien to “open up your shirt” which isn’t funny at all. No, not at all. And of course Adrien pulls Camembert out of it. This gives Mari the bright idea to open her purse and she finds a macaroon so Tikki is happy. But why does the symbol for their bakery get stamped on the macaroons? That seems like a lot of work and if this weren’t CGI and an actual macaroon, it just wouldn’t look very good. Sorry, I just noticed that. Okay, so she also finds her ID which we have never seen before now and I find it slightly irritating. But the best thing about it is how bad her ID picture is because its realistic as heck. And Adrien is like, “please to meet you” and bows and Mari giggles and I’m not crying... Adrien pulls out his ID and no, they don’t show what it looks like and yes, I AM VERY ANGRY ABOUT IT! But anyway, Marinette curtsies and its so cute, kill me. Then Mari is like, “Oh right, we have cellar devices.” But neither of them remember their passcode. Now Oblivio has found them and so they go hide in the last stall. And then they both grab the lock to, I assume, lock it, but they blush about it, like idiots, and Oblivio breaks into the bathroom. THEY PULL THEIR HANDS AWAY WITHOUT LOCKING IT LIKE MORONS! AND ADRIEN STARTS ASKING WHAT THE HECK THEY WILL DO BEFORE HE IS PROMPTLY, AND RIGHTFULLY, SHUT UP BY MARINETTE! GREAT JOB, GUYS. :D So Oblivio is like 3 stalls away from them and by the time Mari finds the vent Oblivio has already smashed in all three of those but yet, SOMEHOW, when he gets to their stall the vent is already taken off and they are already a ways through it, SOMEHOW!! So Adrien is amazed by Mari’s skill but seems way too happy about their situation. A happy Adrien does not look good in the dark slowly following a terrified Mari, okay? So, they exit the vent and I have 2 problems... 1. Vents DO NOT stick to your hands so you can’t just slightly open it and it will stay on... 2. WHY ARE NONE OF THESE VENTS SCREWED ON!! Anyway, Adrien is a gentleman and tries to help Mari out but she trips and falls on him and yes, its cute but, again... YOU ARE BEING CHASED BY SOMETHING VERY AGGRESSIVE!! PLEASE STOP LINGERING!! Also, they want us to believe she fell out but she jumped. I saw it. She jumped, okay. She did that on purpose and you know what? Fair game, I guess. Now they’re SOMEHOW ON ONE OF THE HIGHEST FLOORS? HOW? They can’t signal for help because the glass is tinted and none of them question why no one else is in this building? Whole buildings don’t just shut down, guys. I think you should be a bit more freaked out about this? Adrien tries the phones but the phone lines are down so Adrien goes to good ole’ celly however he still can’t remember how to unlock it so Mari has the brilliant idea of grabbing HIS phone and breathing on it to fog up the glass so it reveals the fingerprint path which is cool but YOU HAVE YOUR OWN! Good news is I now know how to unlock Adrien’s phone, I guess? Like what, we aren’t supposed to see Mari’s but we can see his however Adrien’s ID is off limits? WHAT’S THE RULES? Also, they’re both almost out of battery and what do they have running in the background of their phones that already caused their phones to be almost dead? Because, I would delete that. There is literally no reason your phones should have this poor of a battery life, especially you MR. MY DAD IS RICH AND CAN GET ME THE MOST EXPENSIVE PHONE! Okay so the thing I love about Adrien’s contacts is for the Gorilla he just has G. Also, it’s nice to know he can call the Gorilla personally. And then the rest of his contacts are on a first name basis EXCEPT his dad, but memory-less Adrien doesn’t find that weird at all. MOST people have their parents in their contacts as mom and dad. I only have my parents in my contacts with their first and last name because my family is paranoid. I should really change that... Anyway, I doubt Gabriel cares that much about it, alright? So why does Adrien have him in his contact as Gabriel Agreste? I choose to believe some part of him just knows. Also, fun trivia, at the top of his contacts isn’t Nino... NO Nino is SECOND... Vincent... HIS PHOTOGRAPHER, is at the top and I find that hilariously sad. Anyway, he tries his dad, is a little sad when Gabe doesn’t answer but shrugs it off. Gabriel’s voicemail annoys me because it says, “This is Gabriel Agreste’s voicemail. To leave a message, please call my secretary” but then HE DOESN’T LEAVE THE PHONE NUMBER TO CALL SO THANKS.... GABE Okay so Adrien doesn’t even bother trying any of his other contacts and I find that hilarious... So Mari digs through hers. And OUT LOUD she says the last names of her friends but when we get a look at her contacts it is just their first names SO HOW THE HECK Anyway, she calls her mom who she also has in her contacts with her full name so never mind, I guess parents just aren’t important in this universe and she’s gotta find her mom somehow even though MOM WOULD WORK FINE! However, her mom in her contacts is just Sabine Cheng but she says DUPAIN-CHENG I’M STARTING TO BELIEVE YOUR FAKING, MARI Alright, Sabine immediately picks up which makes it seem like she was worried based on how fast she speaks but why haven’t you called your daughter then? And if you’re asking, “Maybe she called when she was passed out or when she was Ladybugging” NO, YOUR PHONE TELLS YA WHEN YOU HAVE MISSED CALLS AND I FEEL LIKE THEY WOULD MENTION THAT SO I’M STARTING TO BELIEVE THAT PARENTS REALLY ARE WORTHLESS IN THIS UNIVERSE!  So Sabine conveniently mentions Chat Noir and Ladybug and also, conveniently there is a poster for the Ladybug movie on the wall (btw, I love that poster). Which this poster should send her mixed messages where she would think her mom is crazy because clearly they are fictional characters in this poster unless this is some sort of animated documentary in which case, that sounds awesome, sign me up. And if your argument is, they saw each other in their costumes, remember, they could still be going to a costume party as that’s what they thought in the beginning. Now Mari decides to spout this nonsense instead of asking for help from her mom which is probably a wise move because we have proof parents are just useless in this universe. They have come to the conclusion they are superheroes so what are they gonna do? Cut to Oblivio still looking around for them in this really annoying purple tint and Hawkmoth asks where they went which kind of proved Hawkmoth can see through eyes of the akumatized but Thomas will just gloss over that for the rest of the series.

Cut back to Mari and Adrien questioning if they know each other’s identities and Mari looks through her many photos of Adrien despite none of them being a picture of him and her together and assumes they are a couple and must know and it gets better when Adrien looks through his millions of photos of Ladybug and assumes the same despite none of them are of them together or of just Marinette which means he is risking his girlfriend’s identity or people thinking he’s cheating, from his POV.  And Adrien is all like, “We must have told each other everything. I couldn’t hide my identity from the girl I love...” Which is cute but... it makes me really sad because he can which is really sad. Mari immediately stops caring and asks what the heck Tikki and Plagg are so now we get to cut to Plagg and Tikki arguing and I’m just gonna say Plagg doesn’t care, Tikki is mad he doesn’t care and calls him selfish and a coward, Plagg gets mad and storms off. This was one of my least favorite parts of the episode, okay?  Adrien asks if he went to get help, Tikki, instead of answering his question, is like, “I don’t think we should hold our breath.” And man I hate this. Luckily Oblivio shows up to save me from my misery in an ELEVATOR FOR SOME REASON? WHY ARE YOU STILL USING ELEVATORS? Now finally we get to see Oblivo and it is sadly the must underwhelming thing. It’s a purple glowing blob that sort of shaped like a human with a weird glove on one hand and a laser canon like thing on the other. Wow... Also he keeps throwing everything like that will do anything... Now we get Mari vision where she finds sticky notes, a mug, a pen, and a roll of tape... ALSO ADRIEN’S PHONE!! THIS IS THE SECOND TIME SHE TAKES HIS PHONE! I KNOW YOUR PHONE WORKS MISSY!! And yeah, the rest of the plot can’t happen without her phone but she doesn’t know that immediately so why does she take his? It frustrates me, alright? Mari wraps tape around his phone, explains the plan (I already like her more than normal Mari) and Adrien is like, “No wonder I fell in love with you” EXCUSE ME NOW IS NOT THE TIME, MR.! YOU AREN’T EVEN IN YOUR CAT GET-UP! But the plan is put into action. She leads Oblivio away with the ring of Adrien’s phone and then pulls it back, Tikki carries the coffee mug with coffee still in it which implies either someone left this building without cleaning their mug or there was humans here that fled and the fact there is literally no other sign scares me. Alright, so what does she use the sticky notes and pen for? She drew a picture of donkey on a sticky note and while hilarious... YOUR WASTING TIME! However... This only makes me like memory-less Mari more.  Tikki pours coffee down the stairs to make Oblivio think they went that way despite knowing they don’t carry coffee. Luckily Oblivio isn’t stupid and is about to head upstairs until Tikki opens the door on one of the bottom floors because Hawkmoth forgot kwamis exist so he follows that. YAY, TIKKI IS A HERO!!! Cut to Plagg running around mumbling to himself and constantly running into Adrien posters. Finally those posters come in handy. He screams, “This is called psychological harassment!” Which is so funny. Cut back to Mari, Adrien, and Tikki. Tikki says their an effective couple and as much as I would love to believe that, Adrien hasn’t gotten to do anything? All we see is Mari and Tikki doing stuff and I’m really mad about it. Anyway, they decide to look at news footage on Mari’s phone since Adrien’s is dead. Cut to that stupid purple tint where Oblivio is still looking for them. Hawkmoth is about fed up and basically tells Oblivio what they should have done in the first freaking place and just threaten to wipe the city of all their memories. Cut back to Mari and Adrien. They look at more news footage and they are for some reason more concerned about the fact Ladybug and Chat Noir show no romantic interest in one another? PRIORITIES! And Ladybug out right says, “And stop calling us a couple!” Which should be a huge hint they aren’t a couple... -.- Anyway, Chat is hit first BECAUSE OF COURSE HE IS AND ITS NOT LIKE HE HAS BATON OR ANYTHING!! So Ladybug pulls him into the elevator where she quickly scribbles on the elevator wall with her lucky charm lipstick instead of... you know... hiding behind one of the elevator walls to minimize the risk of her getting hit... Also, they are on the top of this building so now you know why I was confused by the beginning and that they were so close to the first floor and that Oblivio clearly took so long to try and break into the elevator... >.> So she remembers the turtle, looks through her contacts again, finds a turtle (which, may I just mention, is above her father but under her mother so that’s hilarious) and despite it saying FU she calls him Mr. Turtle when calling him. Alrighty, fine. So she tells Fu everything and Fu is like, “You know each other’s identities? Eh. The cure will fix it.” So now they know they don’t actually know each other and it hurts because it is still eternally stupid to me. Also, how she says Chat Noir isn’t their and actually Adrien... He is Chat Noir... Just say yes? Why is she still calling him Mr. Turtle? That literally wastes so much time, especially just after you found out your phone is about to die! Just call him sir!  Fu tells them how to transform and Adrien can’t do it since Plagg isn’t near him. That sucks. He also says all the info is on their cat and bug phone. That’s such a stupid name for those things but, okay. They fight with those things. Just call them weapons. Cut back to Plagg who sees what Oblivio is planning and decides to head back. Oblivio gives their evil speech and we cut back to Mari, Adrien, and Tikki. So Mari transforms and we see her transformation and Adrien makes a comment which implies he saw it and she is still in her ending pose when he does which means... They quite literally do all this dumb transformation stuff and waste valuable time and how the heck does she know this transformation? Shouldn’t she be be terrified her body automatically does this? Anyway, she looks through her “bug phone” and finds out her one time power is lucky charm, says that out loud, and then her lucky charm happens. She freaks out and throws it on the ground and it is hilarious. A teapot comes out and she says, “What am I supposed to do with this? Make tEeA?” It’s hilarious. I wish this became more of a meme. XD Adrien finally does something and suggests it might be part of a puzzle. So Mari is still confused but Adrien just becomes the embodiment of motivation and is just like, “You got this.” The way he moves in this scene makes it really funny to me because he seems so confident in his posture and I know it’s supposed to imply he believes in her but it just seems like he is so proud of his comments and he looks sassy as heck. Adrien wants to help, like the adorable little piece of sunshine he is, but Ladybug rightfully tells him it is a bad idea and he listens to her. She kisses his cheek after telling him “I’m starting to see how much you mean to me, Adrien”. She runs off and he’s like, “I don’t need my memories to know I love that girl” WE GET IT!  Ladybug reads her bug phone and discovers her other special abilities before she is assaulted by Oblivio. And somehow, SOMEHOW, Hawkmoth immediately knows Ladybug still hasn’t got her memories back... OKAY Does that book you have tell you everything about how the Ladybug miraculous works? I guess... That is literally the only way this would make sense. Adrien sees Ladybug swinging around ever so gracefully (I am being sarcastic about that, if that weren’t clear) and then goes into Adrien vision mode (when did the three lines on his shirt become the embodiment of his personality because whoever came up with that, I would just like to talk...) He finds cardboard boxes, scissors, and duct tape. What’s he gonna do, you wonder? Something amazing, I assure you. Ladybug trips and is about to get hit by Oblivio again but who should come to save the day?

BOXCHAT!! I love him and he’s beautiful. May I remind you he made this getup in less than a minute... He made a tail, ears, sharpied details, and added the bell... He only saw few split seconds of Chat Noir, too. It’s not as if the poster had an accurate representation of Chat Noir. This boy is amazing. If Mari didn’t immediately see this and think, “Oh yeah, I am so going to marry that boy” then that’s it, I’m through. So BoxChat distracts Oblivio and Ladybug pulls him out of danger and into a hiding spot. Plagg shows up and Chat transforms and despite the VERY limited time they have and the fact Oblivio probably could see all of that, they do the whole transformation. He even asks if it was awesome and Ladybug is like, “yeah” and my heart... CAN’T THEY STAY LIKE THIS FOREVER? I’m still mad the English dub call’s Chat’s baton a stick... I know baton is french for stick but it still annoys me... Baton just sounds better. Anyway, he almost says his power. Ladybug tells him to not do that. She asks what it does and he says he can destroy anything, she says, “then stay away from me if you don’t mind,” and he’s like, “That’s not going to be easy... ma-lady.” See most people thinks he just remembers his nickname for her here, actually he almost says her name and then finds it cute. HONESTLY, WHY CAN’T THEY STAY THIS WAY? Chat tries hitting Oblivio but it goes right through so Chat comes right back behind the yo-yo shield and asks what the plan is. And perhaps the most annoying thing ever comes out of her mouth, “Of course! His (UGH, LADYBUG, THEY REFER TO THEMSELVES AS THEY ;P) left hand is different  from the rest of his body! That must be where the akuma is hiding!” Here’s the thing... 

Both their hands are different from the rest of their body... UGH Chat says, “I have no idea what a hakuna matata is, but I trust you” and its the best joke ever. Ladybug tells Chat to distract Oblivio and he does while she prepares to do a sneak attack.  She sticks the teapot on his other hand and Chat cataclysms the canon. Then... are you ready for this? Oblivio splits into two people... Alya and Nino. Also, Ladybug captures the butterfly and despite them never showing us, I’m just gonna assume she read all this on her bug phone which y’know, would have been super nice in origins... -.- Chat stops her from doing miraculous ladybug because he thinks they’ll forget all this and Ladybug says, “well yeah” basically so he asks permission to kiss her and I know you people want it so I’ll show it.

No matter how cute this is I’m going to forever hate it due to salt fics and “fix-it” fics ruining it. However, I won’t get into that. I still find it cute, at least. I’m glad they each got the kiss they both deserve, especially as their best selves. Alya and Nino wake up and Alya snags a picture and I’m on the fence about this... On the one had, its a major invasion of privacy but on the other she is just paparazzi/a fan basically... I hate paparazzi/crazy fans but you can’t expect her not to do this? So Ladybug does the miraculous ladybug thing and they hold each other as everything is fixed and its so cute I’m not crying... QWQ 

So Chat and Ladybug immediately let go of each other once they remember and Chat does it very quickly. I don’t think people realize just how far Chat has come? He used to linger on these things but he knows she hates it and so he immediately, as soon as he realizes, lets go and gives her a sheepish grin. He’s trying. He asks where Oblivio went, Alya says her and Nino were Oblivio and they defeated them. The superhero duo is like, “cool” then “pounds it”. It’s hilarious how nonchalant they are about this. They are so used to this by now. So Chat still teases about being a couple while still keeping his hands to himself, in the same position he did when he pulled them away from her which means he is literally just teasing and he knows she ain’t gonna agree. She says no. Chat starts laughing and points her chin in the direction of the photo Alya was holding which means he seems a bit more confident which I agree, is a bit annoying but he’s a teen boy, what do you expect? I hate the grin he gives at seeing the picture, not just because its annoying but mostly it is just a real hideous expression on Chat’s face. Ladybug assumes everyone saw this when she hasn’t even posted it yet or did she just do that? ALYA, DO YOU HAVE NO CHILL? Ladybug is annoyed, Chat is happy. Ladybug runs off, upset, Chat is chill. Alya is smug. Nino is just... there... Hawkmoth is still a sore loser.  Cut to Alya and Nino getting on the bus and then apologizing. We find out the reason they were akumatized was because they were playing “Super Penguino” in a closet, and people found out so they wanted to forget. “Super Penguino” is a VERY obvious metaphor for making out and I bet you most kids figured it out. I hate it. It is not funny. Rose says she does it with Juleka. Mylene kind of implies she does it with Ivan. Sabrina outright shouts she does it with Chloe, much to Chloe’s dismay. Adrien says “it looks fun” and Alya not-so-subtly suggests Mari as a partner by mentioning he should find the right partner then immediately looks at her. 

Cut to Mari’s place where she’s groaning over the kiss now posted on the Ladyblog, which isn’t cool but Ladybug didn’t even bother to tell Alya to delete it or anything. You know, maybe Alya would have listened if she just expressed she wasn’t okay with that? Tikki is like, “maybe you have a few more things to learn about them”. Cut to Adrien’s place where he’s gushing over it like a lovestruck puppy and is so happy Ladybug fell in love with him once but sad he forgot but at least now he thinks he has a shot and yes, I immediately miss memory-less Adrien and Mari... -.-

Alright, re-watching this theme song again. Still love it. Only problem I have is it is clearly focused on Ladybug so can we just change the title from Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir to just Miraculous Ladybug? I mean, Chat Noir is clearly not a main focus of this show which is fine but the title is kind of misleading and annoying. It starts on the principal telling this one class about the contest Gabriel shall be judging. 1. They have such a cute background on the board to display this tiny slide show of examples. 2. Why the heck is Gabe judging this contest? Doesn’t he have other things to do? Who managed to convince him to do this? Why would he even do this? 3. Does the principal just go to every class individually and tell them this or is it just Mari’s class in this contest? Why couldn’t their teacher just tell them? Also, your probably wondering why I don’t call the teacher and principal by their names... It’s quite simple, really... I refuse to try to spell them over and over again. :D I like that the principal needs to clarify that Gabe is, in fact, Adrien’s dad. Like this whole class does not know that? And Adrien’s gonna model the winning design which is cool. So what are they designing? A shirt? Pants? A suit? Shoes? A tie? A jacket? Nah, its a derby hat... Okay... Do people even wear derby hats anymore, besides for cosplay? If so, where can I get one? Also, the principal says that this is THIS YEAR’S project so does that mean they do this contest every year? Does Gabe actually do this every year or do they get a different judge? If he does do it every year I bet Emilie got him started on it or Nathalie. Okay so Marinette is shocked by it being derby hats too. Cool, I’m not alone. Chloe is like teasing Mari for some reason? I get she’s supposed to be a bully but what is she teasing about? Her gesture is so confusing? She has a thumbs down while humming... I don’t get it? Anyway, so Mari flips through her sketchbook which is full of really cute little doodles that aren’t realistic looking but are still really cute. I personally love her style in season 1. But in season 3, if you noticed in Silencer, her art style drastically changed and yeah, artists are allowed to change their art style but the thing that bothers me about it is how in Reverser it is shown Nath’s art style got slightly less good? This kind of makes me think someone decided that Nath was out shining Mari and they were gonna have none of that so they gave his art style to her because it looks exactly like Nath’s from season 1. It’s kind of annoying. It’s like they are trying to tell me that a doodle like art style isn’t good and that is has to be realistic. Let Mari have a doodle style! Ugh... I mean, look at these cute designs...

THIS IS FREAKING ADORABLE!! WHY THE HECK WOULD THEY CHANGE THIS? I get showing her improving. Like perhaps she gets a bit better at understanding anatomy so her legs are all even in size as well as her arms. But changing her art style completely to Nath’s? Ugh... If it wasn’t clear, I’m an artist. I complain about this kind of stuff. Just wait until I do Syren and you see me complain about how much I dislike Aquabug’s design. :D So Mari’s all upset she can’t find a single derby hat design in her sketchbook and, I mean... Just... just sketch some designs then? I know that takes a lot of work but it’s gonna be pretty worth it, right? Anyway, she spirals into self-doubt and she thinks she’s gonna make a huge fool of herself. In her made up disaster story she hilariously thinks Gabe will show up in person to judge this thing. Heh. To be that naive. :’D Alya decided to flip through the sketchbook again and see if she can find anything. That’s when Adrien the ninja Agreste shows up and thinks Alya sketched them. He compliments the designs and Alya’s like, “I’m flattered but Marinette’s really the creator of these designs.” Mari had already fallen off the bench by this point because she was rightfully terrified Adrien showed up out of no where and I have no idea how Alya wasn’t the least bit startled. Adrien is all like, “You got some mad skills. Bet you have this thing in the bag.” As he continues to just pose dramatically every few seconds like he did in Oblivio and it never gets less funny to me. Luckily this is more smooth and less fast which makes it feel more natural whereas in Oblivio it felt like a joke. XD Mari fumbles a bit over her words but seems to actually have handled it very well. I really don’t know why she freaks out so much when she can’t speak. Adrien literally never seems to really care, he only gets confused occasionally because he’s waiting to be able to make something out. Probably because the boy has far more patience than almost every other character in this show combined.  So Adrien is pretty confident he’ll be wearing Mari’s derby hat for his father’s next photoshoot... He bounces. Alya is all like, “Get a grip next time, but Adrien thinks you’ll win!” She screams this.  The camera pans over to Sabrina and Chloe where Sabrina is like, “Did you hear how impressed Adrien was with Mari-” And Chloe cuts her off like, “Of course I did, Alya just freaking screamed it. Do you think I’m deaf? I’d be surprised if the whole school didn’t hear her!” Ugh, I hate having to stare at Sabrina’s outfit. It’s so hideous. QWQ Chloe plans to swipe Mari’s design so Adrien will convince his dad to make her the winner, I guess. Hee... she thinks Gabe would listen to Adrien... Oh I wish I was as naive as Mari and Chloe. Okay, so Mari has already wasted 2 of the 10 hours she needs to come up with this design... The real annoying thing about this to me is how unnaturally quick they think this will be? I think they could have at least given these kids a few days to put a hat together. Why would you make it such a short time span? That pretty much guarantees that all these hats will be slapped together. >.> But Mari heads off to her “secret garden of inspiration”, gracefully slamming into a wall. She’s fine though, no worries.  We cut to Hawkmoth who is seeking out negative emotions this time instead of just waiting for it. Adrien definitely didn’t get his patience from his father, that’s for sure. We cut back to Mari and now we get to know what her secret garden of inspiration is... You ready? It’s.... in front of the Eiffel Tower. I never would have expected that. Definitely secret worthy. Also there are like a million pigeons circling the Eiffel Tower and I get this is Mr. Pigeon but man... Mari sketches this pretty cute Eiffel Tower derby hat and instead of just crossing it out she tears the freaking page out. It hurts me... That’s one of those nice bound sketchbooks and she just mercifully ruins it. And she also wastes so much paper because she only drew this tiny sketch on this full paper and then she just rips it out. There’s a lot of space left on that paper. I know some artists do this but HOW? HOW CAN YOU DO THIS WITH SUCH CONFIDENCE? I’m fine if you don’t use a full page, I used to do that but WHY TEAR THEM OUT? To make matters more annoying she discards all these on the ground so now she’s littering. If she doesn’t pick those up by the end of this scene... SO HELP ME I’m not even a huge environmentalist I just find it extremely rude of people to discard their trash in public areas, not to mention I’m sure it is extremely illegal to do this in Paris any where near the Eiffel Tower... If it isn’t I’d be surprised. Tikki cheers Mari on and we see this nice flower derby hat sketch. It looks really cute. I would wear it. There’s also this cute bow one with a ladybug leaving a trail. That’s adorable. I want that. There’s this cute music sheet inspired one and then a gift wrap one (which isn’t as great but that’s what happens when your burning out). There’s another cute flower one.  Seriously, all of these are so cute. I took screenshots of all of them. I also noticed the whole time she’s covering the feather hat she will eventually decide on during this. They want us to believe she draws it later but you can’t hide that from me. >:3 Oh, at least she’s piling her papers next to her. That implies she’ll probably clean it up. Anyway, Mari looks up and sees everyone’s favorite pigeon man acting weird before taking  a seat on bench and blowing his pigeon whistle to call all the pigeons so he can feed them. Mari finds it adorable. I find it cute he has one pigeon named Edgar and he can somehow tell him apart from all the others. It now leaves me longing for an episode where Edgar gets akumatized because Pigeon man turned into Rat man and he is so distraught.  Everyone’s favorite policemen walks in, fed up with having to deal with this insane weirdo, and tells him he can’t be feeding the pigeons. This is supposed to seem like a really a-hole move coming from the cop but I know why they don’t allow that? It’s the same thing as littering... it ruins this amazing famous landmark because pigeons are really pests. But fine, boo hard working police officers, I guess. They also make the policeman kind of an a-hole which is really stupid. As if the police don’t get enough bad credit from all the stupid people that worked along with them, now we have animations treating them all like jerks. I don’t mind if you aren’t a fan of the police force but some of them really do a lot of hard work and we are constantly shading all the good officers. Many of these officers risk dying for us on a daily basis and they are normally payed very little. It’s really annoying how horrid they made this man act when he’s a pretty good police man the rest of the show. I’m just not a fan... Apparently, Pigeon man has been banned from every park in Paris so why the heck do we see him in the park in so many following episodes? But he walks off all sad because he can’t feed his pigeons. Mari is like, “Almost feel sorry for that dude.” Tikki mentions how he’s basically a pigeon, he just needs feathers to complete the look. This is what launches Mari into her brilliant idea and we finally get to see that feather hat. BUT NOT BEFORE HAWKMOTH TAKES ADVANTAGE OF POOR PIGEON MAN!! BEHOLD, MR. PIGEON IS BORN! Hawkmoth also says, “What would Paris be without pigeons?” Um... Paris? Does he think the P in Paris stands for Pigeons? I think the best thing about Mr. Pigeon’s design is he made himself absolutely jacked. XD Chloe and Sabrina are here to put Operation Steal Marinette’s Design into action. I feel like Sabrina could just walk over there and compliment Mari on her designs since Mari has nothing against Sabrina and then Sabrina could sneakily steal one of her other designs. Marinette, for some reason, holds her sketchbook up to look at her work... Why? I don’t understand why? The only reason she would do this is if she wanted Chloe to steal her designs and knew Sabrina was right behind her to snap a picture. Speaking of which, I want you all to look at this design...

Someone please make this a meme... So Sabrina brings the goods over and OMD DID CHLOE ALWAYS HAVE THIS AQUAMARINE BUTTON ON HER YELLOW JACKET? HAVE I BEEN BLIND FOR 3 SEASONS? Chloe plans to make her dad pay someone to make this hat instead of making it herself so... she cheats x2 I guess? They also never show us Mari picking up all her garbage but considering the next time she shows up there they aren’t there, I’ll assume she took them with her, very awkwardly. I feel like she could have at least ripped all these perfectly good pages out at her own home. Cut to Mari building the hat in her room. It’s also canon whenever she is focused on designing she sticks her tongue out. She also pricked herself with a needle and Tikki is running on two legs carrying an apple for some reason so she trips on a spool of thread. She knows she can fly, right? Regardless, they’re cute, okay? I love them. Mari has pretty much completed it but begins to freak out because she forgot to grab a pigeon feather so she actually just books it back to her “secret inspiration spot” to grab a feather. I personally think the way she freaks out about this is for once, normal and she does not make me worry for her sanity doing this so YAY.  I saw her run up to the pigeons and immediately thought she was gonna pluck a feather off one but nope, they conveniently disperse and she gets a feather that when she will put it on the hat, will look nothing like that feather and be far larger than it is now. So she rushes off and bumps into the police officer, she apologizes and it makes him smile. GOOD! THAT POOR GUY MUST WORK SO HARD TO THROW SUCH A FIT EARLIER!  Sadly, he immediately captured by pigeons. RIP. Now Mari is on a bus, waiting to get home and it isn’t moving so she grows real impatient. What’s weird is she says, “Come on! Can’t we go any faster?” Implying that the bus is moving when it isn’t at all. She exits the bus, barely managing to avoid stepping on a pigeon.  So now were looking at Nadja giving the news, stating the obvious once again and then it says Mr. Pigeon wants to give his own message so let’s see what he has to say. Whoever writes these fake news headlines is a genius and we don’t deserve them because all it is is pigeon noises. Basically Mr. Pigeon says that the pigeons rule Paris now. Mari runs off to transform into Ladybug. We get some really dynamic camera angles of her running around on rooftops. Man season 1 is beautiful. Bless it.  She looks up and discovers the  pigeons are forming a bunch of war airplanes for some reason. It’s honestly really funny. That’s when Chat shows up in the “draw me like one of your French girls” pose. He then promptly sneezes himself almost all the way off the roof. He says he’s allergic to feathers but... he had no feathers around him at the time? Ladybug is like, “That sucks, man.” He manages to stifle some of his sneezing so he can tell us all the park keepers went missing. So I guess that policeman was actually a park keeper despite the fact for the rest of the series they treat him like a cop? They suddenly start speaking really fast for some reason. Basically Ladybug is like, “I have a plan.” Cut to the best scene in history where Chat is wearing a police hat (so I guess it is the police) and whistling waiting to draw Mr. Pigeon in. He gets bored and starts doing the Gangman style dance and moonwalking and did I mention I love him? Ladybug tells him to knock it off and “act natural” and he’s like, “What do ya mean? I am acting natural.” I LOVE HIM. A pigeon sees him and thinks Chat is most definitely a cop. JUST KIDDING! The pigeon tells Mr. Pigeon that Ladybug and Chat are totally in the park. For some reason Ladybug thought Mr. Pigeon wouldn’t show up if they were just themselves? Did she forget how Hawkmoth and akumas work? For this whole episode I’m going to pretend it is totally possible all these pigeons can band together and carry this grown man around. Unless he also asked to be as light as feather along with being jacked? Cut back to Ladybug wondering where the heck Mr. Pigeon is and then getting surprised when a bunch of pigeons sweep Chat Noir off his feet. Bet she’s just mad they did it before her. So she runs up to try and save him before he goes into epileptic shock. I know his allergy isn’t treated that seriously but he would still be getting pretty sick... She chases them all the way to Mr. Pigeon’s roost, I guess, pretending that Chat totally isn’t just dying in that ball of pigeons. Then they just dump Chat off and YAY HE CAN BREATHE AGAIN, THANK GOODNESS!! He looks around confused which, again, I love that expression on Chat. It’s so freaking cute. He’s surrounded by an army of pigeons and Ladybug just casually walks over there like she didn’t ditch him to see if he would get ambushed... >.> Chat wonders where the heck Mr. Pigeon is and then we just seem him fly up behind them on an even less number of pigeons than before. Hawkmoth is like, “Get rid of those morons and pigeons will rule Paris.” Mr. Pigeon thinks that sounds like a sound plan so he blows his whistle so the pigeons just start circling them. Okay, 1. Ladybug says, “Call me crazy, but I feel like bird seed all of a sudden.” Like, that line was clearly supposed to come out of Chat’s mouth, right? 2. Chat goes, “Got any bright ideas, Bug?” Which, I like him calling her bug, but again, this sounds like this was supposed to be Ladybug’s line? Wow... season 2 and 3 have ruined me... Ladybug is like, “You’re the cat! Don’t you eat these things for breakfast?” Did... did you not hear him earlier? No, of course not. He’s gosh darn freaking allergic. So the pigeons drop a cage on them and OH NO, THEY’RE TRAPPED!! I have no idea how they managed to coordinate that so well to where none of the fellow pigeons got stuck in there... >.> So Mr. Pigeon starts threatening them by having his pigeons bang on the cage and oh wow, that’s terrifying... -.- But then he plans to have them poop on our heroes and yeah, that will be gross but it’s not like their gonna die. I mean, Chat might, due to his allergies, but Ladybug will be fine.  Mr. Pigeon has so much sass in his body language... Wow... So he said on the count of 3 they will fire and he has already said 1 and 2 by the time Ladybug tells Chat to cataclysm the cage (like how did Chat forget about that?) and he somehow didn’t say 3 already? The pigeons disperse when the cage falls and now the power couple is freaking spinning their weapons with confidence. Mr. Pigeon is horrified, as he should be because he’s clearly doomed. He seems like he’s gonna retreat but he goes, “Me? I’m not flying away! I’m just killing two birds with one stone!” Before doing an epic backwards leap off the building and into his pigeons. What an awful choice of words, Mr. Pigeon? If I were those pigeons I’d let you hit the ground after saying that. >.>  They catch him, then throw him into the air, then form him a throne for some reason? He sends some after the duo so they book it off the roof and into the building and those pigeons somehow destroy a metal freaking door? They also immediately let go of the door afterwards, like they think the pigeons won’t trying knocking it in again? OKAY NOW HE’S JUST SHOWING OFF BECAUSE HIS BIRDS FORMED A WHOLE PLANE FOR HIM TO RIDE ON! So yeah, they actually do give up and fly off. Okay? Ladybug and Chat race down the stairs of the building and Chat’s ring starts beeping so he freaks out about his identity getting revealed and she’s like, “Yeah, you wouldn’t want to let the cat out of the bag.” He’s like, “Ha. Ha.” It’s great. Man their dynamic used to be the bomb. QWQ Turns out they are in the mayor’s hotel because they run into him freaking out about his business. Chat is now making motions like he actually needs to use the bathroom because he’s so freaked out about his identity. Dude, chill... you have 3 pads left. Chat says he has an urgent need so the mayor sends him to the sweet and thinks he needs to use the bathroom. He says, “There’s paper in there... but perhaps you would prefer... a litter tray?” And then laughs like its the funniest joke ever. It’s not. I didn’t really like it when I first heard it and I still don’t like it. It makes me chuckle from how uncomfortable it makes me for Chat... >.> Chat takes it in good spirits though and is like, “Nah, but could ya get some Camembert. Cool, thanks.” As the elevator doors close... which makes me think... why the heck didn’t he just run into any of the doors on the stairs and change in any random empty room he found? >.> The mayor is confused and looks to Ladybug who just shrugs like she doesn’t know why he would possibly ever need food after detransforming. On the bright side, she looks cute shrugging. Chat runs in there and slams the door the waiter knocks on it again to ask how he likes him Camembert and then he slams it again then this guy knocks again, already holding a tray of Camembert which Chat takes from and  thanks him for before slamming the door again and detransforming.... How freaking fast is this man?  So Adrien gives Plagg the cheese after Plagg gets done complaining about being tired and just waits for Plagg to devour this wheel of cheese. He’s so supportive too like, “Eat up buddy. Ladybug needs help.” Also, why does every time Adrien moves look like he is posing? Cut to Ladybug exiting an elevator. She’s on one of the top floors and looks through the windows to watch the literal balls of pigeon flying in the air. She’s like, “Odd, pigeons are flying in the same direction.” But that isn’t odd? That’s how birds work... Plus, of course there gonna all fly towards the same spot where Mr. Pigeon is. That’s kind of obvious. I think what would be considered odd is if they weren’t doing this...  Chat somehow knew what floor Ladybug was on. He knows her too well, I guess. We also get another nickname from him, LB. Man, I wish he actually used these nowadays... QWQ  They follow the pigeons to the large building where Mr. Pigeon is keeping all the park rangers in this comically small cage. Also, there was like a million balls of the pigeons and there’s only like 5 rangers in this cage? Also, also, where is Mr. Pigeon getting these cages? Chat nearly sneezes again, Ladybug catches him. They see no pigeons in sight but Chat nearly sneezed so we freaking know he’s here and the fact we just saw the pigeons fly in there and not fly out confirms it. Chat wants to barge in there but Ladybug is like, “Too easy, mate. No way the universe would be this nice to us.” I mean, DUH. So they run off to make a new plan. Unsurprisingly, Mr. Pigeon was planning a trap for them. Luckily Ladybug and Chat found a window right above him. The plan is for Chat to open the window, Ladybug to reel him in, and for Chat to snag the bird call so Ladybug can destroy it. It majorly backfires because they both forgot Chat is allergic somehow and he sneezes away the element of surprise. It also scares Ladybug into messing up, somehow... 

Again, someone please make this a meme. They begin to attack and Mr. Pigeon starts using the pigeons as fists, for some reason? Doesn’t he want to protect these things? He throws Chat at the cage, probably giving the poor guy a minor concussion. Will Chat ever catch a break? He also throws back Ladybug but she doesn’t hit the cage, somehow.  The cops are like, “Save us, Ladybug.” Yes, because that helps her so much. She calls for lucky charm and gets a coin. Ladybug asks the same question she always does, “What the heck am I supposed to do with this?” She looks around and sees support railing and a vending machine. Your guess is as good as mine, guys.  Mr. Pigeon tries to attack but she dodges, slides under him, wraps her yo-yo around his ankle, jumps on the high up support railing, flips around it to wrap her yo-yo string around that, runs to the vending machine to stick her coin in, pulls out a bag of popcorn, and then just yeets it at fast recovering Chat Noir whom promptly destroys it with his baton so all the popcorn fly out and onto Mr. Pigeon so the pigeons run in to eat it. If you saw that coming, good for you. She then yanks on the yo-yo string and now he’s hanging from support railing. The bird call falls of his neck and Chat grabs it before sneezing so it goes flying. Ladybug lets go of the string which immediately lets go of Mr. Pigeon (which proves my point in the Animan one) and they all rush over to get it. Mr. Pigeon’s hand lands on it first, then Chat’s, then Ladybug’s. Ladybug then promptly grabs Chat’s hand and smashes it on top of Mr. Pigeon’s which breaks the whistle. I feel like she could have just pushed Chat’s hand out of the way and smacked Mr. Pigeon’s hand down on it but whatever...  Chat rubs his head because it hurts, as it should... Ladybug just keeps sort of screwing Chat over in this episode. XD Mr. Pigeon faints. Ladybug captures the akuma and everything goes back to normal. My question is... how did she get the coin out of the vending machine so fast? What the- HOW? Mr. Pigeon turns back into Pigeon man as Ladybug and Chat Noir pound it. Hawkmoth curses pigeons and Ladybug (is Chat chopped liver or something). I guess he has a right to be a little upset this time. He actually told his akumatized victim to do stuff this time.  Cut to Mari back at her place, finally finishing her hat. Admit it, you forgot about the hat. I sure did. Alya tries calling Mari but she ain’t answering. Juleka and Rose have a steampunk derby hat which does look like it was just slapped together. There’s literally no other contestants besides Chloe and Sabrina and Kim and Max (which btw, they have a lovely little flower hat. It looks so nice). Shocker....-.- Unsurprisingly, Nathalie showed up with Gabe on a tablet. The principal asks where the heck Gabe is and then she pulls out her tablet she had behind her back for some reason. I know its to “reveal” this but... was Gabe just looking at her butt this whole time or was she holding the screen outwards so all he could see was people’s legs? Gabe asks Adrien to lead Nathalie around, because she can’t navigate this small courtyard by herself, are ya crazy? They look at Juleka and Rose’s hat while Mari finally rushes onto scene with her hat.  Alya isn’t too thrilled because Marinette’s hat looks exactly like Chloe’s hat. Mari is like, “WHAT? THE GIRL THAT HAS BEEN BULLYING ME FOR YEARS AND TEASED ME ABOUT THIS CONTEST JUST EARLIER TODAY AND KEEPS COMPETING FOR AFFECTION FROM THE GUY I LIKE DECIDED TO SABOTAGE ME? *LE GASP*” Why is she even freaking surprised? Chloe begins to tell Gabe who she is, as if he doesn’t know because this is his son’s childhood friend. Alya asks if she should take care of it but Mari is like, “No, I got it.” And let’s take a second to pause before we get to this massively stupid climax... Mari’s sketch wasn’t colored... so how did Chloe get the exact colors down to a t? Seriously, nothing is different. I get assuming most of it will be black but even the lining is gold? Whoever Andre payed to make this for his daughter must have had some seriously good insight. >.>  Okay, back to the stupid climax. Gabe looks’s at Mari’s and is like, “Hey, that’s the same as Chloe’s.” Chloe starts playing victim. Mari is like, “Yo, quite your crying. I can prove this thing is mine.” And how does she do this... Are you ready for this? On the hat ribbon is Mari’s name upside down. Scroll back up to that sketch, try looking at it upside down... It doesn’t freaking look like Mari’s name at all. It looks like a bunch of squiggles... Even if it did work, HOW THE HECK DOES SOMEONE NOT NOTICE THIS FORMS OBVIOUS LETTERS? I’m starting to think Andre payed Mari to make this hat... So Mari wins even though he never saw Kim and Max’s hat... I call that unfair. But Mari is excited. Adrien grabs her hands holding the hat and is like, “Awesome job, Mari.” She blushes. Gabe says Adrien will be wearing this hat in their next advertising campaign, though the principal said in the beginning it would be Adrien’s next photoshoot? Nonetheless, this doesn’t have until near the very end of season 2..? Adrien tries putting on the hat but ends up sneezing, which cuts off the romantic music nicely. Mari is confused and Adrien says he’s allergic to feathers. She’s like, “hmm... what an odd coinc-” JUST KIDDING! She barely bats and eye and is just happy and blesses him. Adrien thanks her before walking off to die. Then we get my personal favorite endcard.
