What are your thoughts regarding the headcanon that the use of Miraculous has side effects?
Its fun as a headcanon and for fanfic. Its not supported by canon, but considering the state of canon, who cares? 🤣
Without all the past bullying, who do you think would be more likely to become friends (or "friends") with Chloe?
I mean, Marinette's right there. In one of the previous iterations of the show they WERE friends. There's concept art of them and Alya at a fashion show. Chloe&Mari friendly rivals with Chloe being more business/industry side and Marinette more creative/bespoke side would be awesome.
If they ever dipped into Choe's physical side (8yrs of ballet!) mixed with competitive side, she and Alix might have been good friendly rivals in place of Kim and Alix. (Again, at one point Alix and Chloe WERE friends during the formulation of the show. Alix was with Chloe and Sabrina as a trio) Alix enjoys getting the pretty little princess all grubby and scuffed. However in the process Alix finds she's rather glad she's aro, but not ACE. Alix would totally fumble though. Chloe: Netflix? Why would I care that you have netflix? We have all the streaming channels at the hotel... (Chloe, oblivious, Alix, frustrated)
Juleka might once her fashion-ambitions became known. Chloe might enjoy 'discovering' Juleka and taking her as her first 'rising star'. I've included that in a couple fics.
That's off the top of my head, more are easy too. Really all you need to do is find a common thread and pluck it. Creating friendships is easy. What's important is to make the friendships feel unique, something the show struggles with.

ADRIBRINA! My goobers! I love them your honor. They are not canon. They are better than canon. What starts out as curiosity becomes study buddies(who kiss a bit...) They both get to be themselves around the other, and neither push or question whatever it is they have going on. They're just happy to be a part of it. They're the last ones to know their in a relationship! He puns at her, She puns back! He picks her to be a backup for the black cat. He knows she's Miss Hound(his curiosity as to who that hero was is what starts everything off!) And it bleeds into other people's lives in a good ways! Cat Noir is happy and free and pays so much attention to his partner. He's there for her, he's trying to shoulder some of the burden and approach the battle against Monarch as equals. Sabrina gently urges Adrien to include Chloe in his life in little ways. It rekindles a bit of the flagging friendship, and gives Chloe stability in a world that has been repeatedly rocked. (her being more stable is just good for everyone all around) Marinette... while her fairy tale-love doesn't end up coming true, she is freed from it and is more able to appreciate the other people around her, and relationships start in the most peculiar of ways sometimes.
So yeah, Adribrina, my fave.
Second is the first, amusingly. The first ship I tried for Sabina. Lukabrina! This one shakes out very much as a younger girl older guy crush. What catches Luka off guard is Sabrina's *sincerity*. He's so used to having to guess and read people via their melody; having to sift through their words to find their intent. Sabrina is al right there, and up front in all her dorky glory. She might be embarrassed. She might blush like a tomato and stamp her feet, but she'll out with it. She'll tackle his chest, bury her face in and hold on as tight as she can. He's entranced. She's smitten. Juleka's confused, but happy for her. One cute thing from that ship: Luka was so confused for so long because he couldn't hear her song! He would listen, and nothing. Then, on their first real date(they had hung out before) he caught hints... but then he tried to focus it vanished. By the end of the fic I wrote about them though he does realize the problem: He kept trying to listen for it like an audience, when in fact.. he was a part of the song.
Lastly we have: Chlobrina! I like this one a lot. I like the power of a lifelong relationship enduring trials and tribulations. I don't shy away from the idea that there ARE tribulations though. Adressing them, the struggles therein, and a 'you and me against the worldmostly your parents.' mindset. I wrote a tasty hanahaki fic and a follow up fic about these two. chock full of teen angst and longing.
Related to my Greek Adrien headcanon, I was today years old when I learned "Greece" is literally written out as "hope for preserved meat" in Chinese characters. I don't know what to make of that and can't think of a good joke right now, but it's absolutely hilarious.

Related to my Slovenian Luka and Juleka headcanon, Slovenia has a weirdly large amount of beekeepers in proportion to the general population. I'd definitely use Lukloé to crack a joke about that.
You can't convince me that in the miraculous universe there isn't a r/Neverbeenakumatised subreddit.
Most of the community is made up of Parisians annoyed about akuma-related property damage or being temporarily stranded in a giant bubble, but there are a fair few members from pretty much every country across the globe who accidentally stumbled across an article and are morbidly intrigued by whatever the hell is going on in France.
(Gabriel used to spend hours on there looking for inspiration. Prior to Marinette getting banned for making too many passionate posts about how "akumatization is never the fault of the victim!", they got into a war in the comments at least once.)
I love leaning into Sublime's Disney Princess motif. She is just *that talented*. Yes she worls hard, but that's only because she wants to clear the top 0.1th percentile. If she puts her mind to anything at all she can perform to a solid B+ output with minimal effort. It's something she doesn't realize/forgets/needs to remember when dealing with others and judging herself. The things she does are baseline impressive and *would be difficult* for most people.
