I did toy around the idea of a fic where Luka and Chloe accidentally develop a toxic secret relationship and the both of them are ashamed of this.
They really want to break up and stop seeing each other but Luka sees how messed up she is and wants to help her while Chloe does enjoy his attentions... and she appreciates that someone actually cares about her, even if she really wants him to stop telling her to not try to be like her mother.
A scene I had in mind was Luka giving to Audrey a long list of the reasons why she sucks as a person after she did nothing to insult Chloe in public and then publicly reveal his relationship with Chloe... something that he comes to regret when all his friends are confused and angry for him dating her of all people and Chloe hiding in his house after her mother strongarmed her father into sending her to a private school in Switzerland specialized in correcting the behavior of rebellious teens
There are lots of ways to run their relationship. I've tried several myself. They've got so much potential and drama built in, but in a good way? Like, they're going to have a rough time of it but they can both make each other better by the end of it.
