#RawChefYin makes Raw Vegan Tom Kha Hed - a recipe by @sabnspice of @straitsroadkitchen. It's my second time making this. I almost always make adaptions to other people's recipes but this one is perfect with no changes required. It's something developed by my fellow @matthewkenneyculinary alum Chef Sabrina Chu who is truly crafting the future of food in Singapore. Her description of the soup: A creamy, hot and sour soup from Thailand robust with Thai herbs like lemongrass, galangal, kaffir lime and chili. Unlike its cousin Tom Yum, the addition of young coconut meat and juice in Tom Kha gives it a sweet undertone that rounds off the spiciness of chiles.
