This is the best resource I've found for looking up resources on Mixtec languages (dialectos). If for instance you know where a relative is from, then you either get lucky and that particular town is listed as a dialecto, or you'll have to look on a map and figure out what the closest listed town is. I spend a lot of time staring at stuff like this, so if anybody out there is trying to look for stuff on the particular language their family speaks, I would live to try to help out.
