Ooof. That’s a good question. I don’t seek out particular writers since it’s the same small group that writes what I read, but I did grow up loving Steinbeck’s writing style. I: Do you have a guilty pleasure in fic (reading or writing)?Soulmates! I’m not sure if this is a trope or not, but I don’t do swapped gender very well. Most of the time it’s not written well and I don’t enjoy it. O: How do you begin a story–with the plot, or the characters?Depends on the story! My HBB started with the characters and then plot came in the outlining process. My little side project is mostly plot. Any characters would work tbh. Thanks for these!
