Ran my first session of a new Council of Thieves campaign. The party is fantastic and ended up clicking really well, and pulled off a rescue mission early on so perfectly that not only did the villains never see them, they got off a murderous command on one of the Hellknights to make it look like he was the one who caused the ordeal to assassinate his superior.
The party in question are two kitsunes (a ninja and an oracle, one who has openly told the party she’s a kitsune even though she hides it in public and one who is still pretending to be human due to her upbringing in Cheliax), a huge one-eyed homeless human who can cleave enemies in half in one attack (and who is secretly the only survivor of a noble bloodline whose family was killed when their house became a nuisance for House Thrune. In true Anastasia fashion he doesn’t remember due to the trauma), and an extremely old mob doctor.
