"What am I looking at?" the teen grumbled into her phone. She'd been standing here for an hour and hadn't seen head nor tail of the "big trouble" that had been described to her before she left. She wasn't sensing anything, but that wasn't unusual. There was quite a bit of interference with her senses in this area. It looked like it was about time to start relying on Liam's locator. She didn't like to use it but so often due to the fact that it ate up her iPod's battery so much, but in a pinch she'd lean on it.
The man on the other end of the line had gone into a lecture about keeping her eyes peeled. That was Liam for you. If she said one thing that he didn't like, it was instant nag-mode. The girl watched glanced at her screen, noticing the signal that appeared close by. She glanced around the corner, making sure to keep herself out of sight as much as possible. It certainly didn't look like "big trouble". In fact, this looked like a pretty small one. "Never mind," she whispered, "I think I found it."
Ruby took a moment to prepare. She kept herself close to the wall of the building as she established her link to her weapon. This one shouldn't be much of a problem, unless it had some sort of ability that she was unaware of. The teen shifted her grip on her sword, making sure it was comfortable before daring to step into the open. "Gotcha," she said.
