Baby Loss Awareness Week finishes each year on October 15 with the global Wave of Light’. October 15 is also International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day and is recognised across the world and we would like to invite you to join with other families across the world and take part in the global Wave of Light’. Simply light a candle at 7pm local time and leave it burning for at least 1 hour to join us in remembering all babies that have died too soon. This can be done individually or in a group, at home or in a communal space. Wherever you do this, you will be joining a global Wave of Light‚in memory of all the babies who lit up our lives for such a short time. This year we’re also inviting you to join a digital Wave of Light at 7pm local time on October 15. Due to my anxiety I almost skipped doing #JACKPACKS this year. Thanks to some amazing friends, I felt encouraged to push through! And boy am I glad I did! For the 9th year in a row, THANKS to our AMAZINGLY AWESOME Friends, Family and even stranger's donations, we were able to help kids in need by donating 52 #JACKPACKS =Backpacks filled with school supplies in memory of our first born Jack for his 14th Birthday! For the last 4 years we've been donating our Jackpacks to The Family Place @familyplaceut in Logan, Utah. They are able to give them out as needed throughout the year to children who desperately need them. Thank you So Much to our friends and our parents for making this happen each and every year! We were able to donate 20 Jackpacks(backpacks filled with school supplies) to @familyplaceut The Family Place in Logan, Utah in honor of our son Jack's 13th Birthday! We've been able to do this every year since Jack would've started Kindergarten. I was really struggling with the fact that I wouldn't be able to take him shopping for his first backpack and school supplies. When I learned about International Kindness Project Day(July 27) I immediately decided I wanted to go buy backpacks and school supplies and I would donate them to kids in need in Jack's memory.
