Just came across this post on Instagram. Can’t be anymore real.
Uhm...not even sure what to call this.
Do you ever feel like there is a HUGE hunk of metal in your way, and no matter how much you try, you just can’t side-step nor jump over it? And you KNOW what you need to do from day to day, like have a shower, eat often, drink water, practice something--whether you enjoy writing, reading, singing, painting, drawing, or solving jigsaw puzzles...the possibilities are endless really but that’s not the point--but you just couldn’t? And you know you’re not spending every day to the fullest, nor taking the opportunities that are coming your way, just because of the barrier towering over you? Have you ever felt so helpless and frustrated to know you’re not living as you should? And everyone else seems to know how to handle their obstacles and make a real difference? Do you ever feel like an observer of life rather than the one living?
There's a cute guy that gets my train. I talked to him once and he seemed slightly nervous and since then he hasn't stopped looking at me. But One day I was going to talking to him again then he moved away. So I don't know what to do.
Moved away as in you started talking to him and he walked away from you showing disinterest in starting a conversation? Or moved as in he no longer takes your train and it seems ironic that on the day you finally mustered up courage, is the day he stopped being around? If scenario 1: You tried, and you shouldn't be embarrassed about it. You got enough courage to talk to him and he didn’t respond the way you wanted. He’ll just continue being a pretty face on the train and that’s alright. You will be fine without him.If scenario 2: My heart really hopes you at very least got his name to maybe look for him on Facebook. Maybe he will take the train again! If not, I’m sorry you feel like there was a missed opportunity! I've had this happen to me plenty of times and it always sucks feeling like you lost your chance. Keep your head up doll <3

If there was a short story that could serve as an allusion for my life, it would be ‘David Swan’ by Nathaniel Hawthorne.
