In 2019, Frank Iero wrote a letter with the release of Barriers.

In the letter, he opens up about his struggles following the unfortunate event of 2016. Frank gradually built himself back up, finding his voice through music by making “Barriers” with his friends. He addresses his fans, encouraging them to follow their passion no matter the hurdles: “Obstacles and hardships are not things that happen to us, they happen FOR us.”

Below his letter, he added a statement for his fans to fill and post to Instagram under #respectmyfears.

7 years have passed since, and it would be lovely to fill the hashtag once again as a reminder that his work has helped us in many different ways.
