I am convinced that Misha's interest in Kicker was initiated by the urge to study him under a microscope and evolved from there. The relationship is unexpectedly cute, which I didn't expect coming in.

I imagine Solus Prime is not just a forger, but a mother to all Cybertronians, and maybe even to some humans who are very deep into their culture or need parental figures. Maybe Misha Miramond from Transformers Energon/Superlink might briefly see her as her mother because she lost her parents at a young age and briefly thought Solus was her own mother.
For a long long time, I hated Kicker is because of how annoying and antagonistic he is... But after watching after some of VibeSpidersStudios's essays about Superlink, I've come to regret my old hatred and appreciated Kicker's relationship with Misha is a lot more realistic than typical anime GFs simping for idiotic male anime protags for no good reason.
Let's be real here: Kicker is still a jerk but was a victim of his abusive father, who used his son an experiment, always putting him in danger, never felt guilty about any of it.
Dr Brian Jones is a genuinely evil piece of shit. If Kicker opened his heart up to Misha by telling her everything and how it all impacted him, she would have absolutely taking action and save him from his abusive father.

IMO, Kicker and Misha are both victims under the "care" of Kicker's abusive father Dr. Brian Jones, who keeps his son blind from knowing anything beyond what's expected out of him, while is keeping his apprentice and son's childhood friend from speaking out.
Not only did Dr. Jones experiment on his own son, forced him into dangerous situations that traumatized him, and always dismissing his son's well-being, I believe he was just as cruel towards Misha because her parents were the only adults who cared for Kicker's well-being.
If Energon was better-written, Dr. Jones would have been ranked as one of anime's worst fathers, just under FMA's Shou Tucker.
In my headcanon, Misha can speak Cybertronian.
Recently, I've come to believe Kicker from Transformers Energon/Superlink is actually trans and her GF Misha openly supports her medical transition.
