I couldn't help but notice that your domestic rotary machine is nearly identical to my white rotary 77 with the main difference being some of the plates on the front. Do you happen to know if it was also manufactured by white/kenmore? I noticed it also has the weird horizontal presser foot attachment style mine has. Is yours knee control too? Mine originally was but it was removed from the housing it came in so I retrofit it with a pedal
Ooo great question! So I do not have exact dates, but at one point Domestic Rotary, White, and Singer were stand alone brands in the sewing industry. White bought out domestic rotary, and then White was later bought out by Singer. When White bought out Domestic Rotary, they rebranded all the sewing machines to be White. This is all random information I absorbed from my grandma, so I don't have any references/dates to give you. Hopefully this is accurate!
My machine is also knee control and I have the original pedal. It's actually very nice and I like it a lot!
