that specific idea was SO important to me. i think we r so often fed this idea by society that u have to have a romantic partner to be an “adult” or a whole person which just isn’t true!!!! and is so dangerous!!!! and esp with a soulmate trope that can often fall into that trap of “u aren’t complete without ur other half” i needed to make a point that romantic love is just another aspect to enjoy in life but no more important than any other experience that u, or friends, can give to to urself (self love, platonic love, pet love, community/family love, etc. r all love and so important!!!!!!!)
