Many moons ago—over a decade’s amount of time—existed a legacy surrounding one celestial being. They were as mysterious as they were beloved by our niche community. We are honored to finally announce the inclusion of @mirroir onto The Lost Blog Network.

Humble in their demeanor, they would indefinitely dismiss any association with widespread influence; however, it remains evident that they pioneered in the exquisite, fundamental curation of all that encompasses both The Dark Arts and literary fragments of melancholy as we’ve grown to recognize them here. It’s a privilege to the wandering eye that their archive remains available, and, more endearingly, that they remain actively blogging to this very day.

Para os antigos, o espelho jamais imita aquele que está refletido nele e a escuridão de suas águas ( os espelhos assim como os escudos eram feitos de bronze) nos manda sempre a um outro mundo que não o nosso mundo. Os espelhos são olhos estranhos únicos. O homem e a mulher ao se olharem nos olhos, ou ao olhar para os olhos únicos de seu sexo, são espelhos. O amor também quando ele dá origem, ao originar crianças, origina “reflexos de seus genitores” os quais povoam o mundo, continuam a viver e que sobrevivem eles mesmos como reflexos. É nesse sentido que o coito é o primeiro espelho, o originador de reflexos.

For the ancient a mirror never mimics back the person it reflects and the darkness of its waters ( mirrors just as shields used to be made of bronze) always returns another world that is not the world. Mirrors are unique odd eyes. When man and woman look each other in the eyes, or look the unique eyes of their sex, they are as mirrors. Love also, when it generates, as it generates children, generates “reflections of the genitors” that peoples the world, who live on and reproduce themselves as reflections, baring that in mind, the coitus is the first mirror, the generator of reflections.
