When a holy guess unexpectactly turned a life upsidedown
Yesterday it had been the first time me attending a real treasure hunt. As I filled out my treasure hunt map (places, names, trades of looks, prayer needs, extra -6 each) it felt more like me pushing myself to fill something out instead of listening to the Holy Spirit. Many points were just holy guesses. Well.. that's what I thought One name confused me because I sensed a name like "Solia" but since I doubted myself, I wrote down Jolia. As we had 3 groups of 3, we compared our 3 different maps and with all the different places we had, we made a route and walked on. Turning around, I couldn't believe what I really saw.. right after we walked, I saw my first place already. We stood then and looked for other trades, people that might be (God's everyday but) our treasure for today. Immediately the man in our group took many risks and first steps to approach people boldly, we other two sisters supporting each other. Many people were open to talk about God, some were not, some wanted and needed prayer, some not. Especially an old christian lady in a church was against us praying for her but she smiled politely and said she knew the Lord already. That'd be enough. Later, as we moved on, looking for my sisters treasure with "a white skirt and colourful flowers", my brother saw his "homeless, dogloving" treasure since he sat there with a big lovely dog -right in front of a discounter I had on my list. #obviouslyholy Instantly we walked up to him and there had been another friend of his playing with the dog. We sat down and talked to the homeless. But because I sat right next to the friend, the older man talked to me and talked about the hard stuff in his life, having to kill some of his mates since he has been in military -asking now where God is and was. At first, my focus was more on the homeless, thinking that was our treasure, and the older man smelled like alcohol, it has been too loud around us, so my concentration had been lowered. Nevertheless we then stood up to talk, while my two teammates sowed into the homeless and dog's life. He shared a lot, also about having no confession now at all. There came the point then when I realized the only way to reach him now would be through listening and prayer, not through own words. When I asked him if I could pray He immediately said yes -but said we have to hold our left hands because it's the side of the heart. Praying only works from heart to heart.#amazing Somehow he said though that he wouldn't have a name. I explained to him that God cares for his name and that He at least knows and treasures it. Then I felt it. The holy spirit reminded me on a name on my list and I told him, "well you know, I feel like my Father God wants to call you Andreas/Andrew. So I will call you like that now." " That's even my name." IN AWE. WE STOOD IN COMPLETE AWE. Quickly he got his passport out to show me and for real, Jesus, his name is Andreas! Our hearts were so moved and touched, we teared already! "Man, I really got pray for you!! YOU ARE IT." We hugged, I prayed, the Lord gripped his heart, which again gripped mine. We stood, weaping. It is so worth it, to step out in faith when we stand there in doubt. All of this has shown me just how faithful, loving, caring God is. If I wouldn't have attended and been open for the hunt, I wouldn't have realized how much Jesus already lives in me that I don't necessarily have to feel or see something supernatural to know He spoke. 3 different people working together as on body. God truly wants still to reach and save the lost. He does not forget one single man, nor a name -not even a dog. Because guess what the name of the dog was.. "Solei" That's just one story out of many what the Lord has done yesterday through people like us, and we don't even know what impact it might could have on a person's life. Start today, you are able to fulfill the mission you've been called to. God will provide all you need Make a move -be a movement. Go in love
