Got people mad at me irl for trying to discuss the existence of a petit bourgeoisie . I even tried to discuss with someone that even though I am working class living paycheck to paycheck, as a white American I still wield imperial power and capital by living as a citizen of this empire. I may be an exploited worker but I still have a roof, amenities, ~ local groceries ~, tattoos, clothing made by exploited laborers of other countries and food grown by exploited migrant labor and factory farming of exploited and abused animals . and in trying to explain this I’m suddenly getting yelled at?
