" how long have you been sick for? and don't lie. " (From Dick)
CARING FOR THE SICK PROMPTS.
🦇—-;; The concern he understands, even if he feels it's unnecessary. He can still do his job, and likely would have kept it hidden if he hadn't had to stop with the sudden dizzy spell that had him holding onto a nearby wall to keep from falling, brought on by a mix of things. He's fine though, nothing he can't handle. He knows damn well where he should be, he should be in bed, resting until this passes, but no, instead he's three days in to fighting pneumonia, still feverish and uncomfortable.
He huffs, about to give the standard response, that he's fine when he's cut off by a harsh cough, turning his head slightly. Hand to his chest as he attempts to settle the discomfort. His jaw tightens a little and he huffs. "It doesn't matter." He says, "I'm fine." And he is, but he is definitely not doing his health any favours either.
"I can handle myself." His hand does move and wipe slightly at the sweat that dripped down from under the cowl. "I just need a minute." It is entirely stubbornness that got him out here anyway, and he's not about to abandon patrol for something he sees as a very minor set back.
