why does no one else remember the best minecraft tutorial. the one where you spawned in a little caged in area, and you had to get wood and kill an animal and eat before it let you in the gates. and then when u went in, the first available adventure, and best part of the tutorial, was that you get to build an iron golem and a snow golem! and then they walk around and r happy. after you bring them to life, you walk down a little pathway kind of to go into the ‘castle’? except it’s almost more like a long, tall town lol. there’s a big building with a ridiculous number of beds, and there are a lot of windows on it. maybe lots of wool? there are old tutorial videos on youtube for so many of them, but i cannot find this one for the life of me and i need it. the nostalgia is so close. also it was on console. if that matters? this would have been in 2013-2014 i think?? someone please help lol 😩
Almost 2 years ago my world, which i started the christmas before lockdown, was corrupted.
Today i got it back so heres my reaction to finding one of my builds after 2 years
When the world corrupted i was on one of my many adventures and very far from home, it took me 30 minutes to travel to this point and i still had to travel another 2,700 blocks
After at least an hour of travel, i brought her home :)

Anyone remember the minecraft xbox theemed worlds? I mostly played on festive, greek mythology, and halloween. Halloween is my favorite tho bcs it had a gigantic castle in the center. Like it was huge and even though i was there all the time I still got lost bcs it's so big tht I couldn't find my way around. I miss those, i rlly wish they'd do the same for java. I know we do get player made maps but usually those maps are a lot smaller and not as detailed because literally anyone can make one. I appreciate player made stuff though as there are good things too. I rlly liked that in those themed worlds there was so much to see and explore. Like i played on the Halloween one a lot and i found tht in one of the villages, there was a hidden Frankenstein's laboratory under it tht I never knew existed for years. It was just rlly fun to explore and not even be sure tht you've seen everything.
i mean but tbh some of them i thought were lazy. Ive never played skyrim but the skyrim map didn't have much in it other than 2 towns in it. Which was cool and all but tht was literally it and it was a disappointment.
I did love the music tho. The greek mythology map has beautiful music. And i was a Percy jackson fan so i ate tht shit uppp
