#milleniumon

It’s been over 20 mins since the episode ended, and I have been able to think of a way to start this. 

Now let me say this first, it isn’t because I disliked this episode that I don’t know what to say, no it’s the opposite, it’s because I loved this episode that I don’t know what to say. 

The only negative thing I have to say is the animation. Now it was good, it was fantastic even, they made all the digimons and humans looks so nice and they did the best for WarGreymon and Milleniumon, but the only thing they failed at was Goddramon and Holydramon....

Now there are scenes like this:

And I love it! They look so awesome, so cool, especially Goddramon imo, but then there are scenes like this:

.....I may be overeacting, but this is so unpleasant to look at. Why is his head so small? Why is her forehead so big?

I know Toei is pretty much known for having terrible animation, but still. They did everyone else look so awesome and amazing but then they make them look like that.

Now the fight scenes though, they did them good too, kind of. Like the fighting was good, especially when they physically attacked them instead of going straight for their techniques, and I loved how they were so focused with the Holy Digimons and how they pretty much defeated Milleniumon until he evolved. I also love how these two eight year olds were taking charge and the older kids just sit back and watch. Something that took me by suprise was how HUGE they are!

Like Holydramon was already big in Tri, but here they are enormous in these. WarGreymon, who was already 20x bigger than he was in the original was like an ant compared to Milleniumon, and they are the same size as him! Considering their size, I won’t be suprised if they only show up like one or two more times, and a lot of people think that Ophanimon and Seraphimon are stronger than them, but I doubt it. I think them being so big and overpowered is the reason they are just side evolutions while their angelic mega form is their main. 

Something else that also took me by surprise was ZeedMilleniumon and his giant size. I did not think that they can get any bigger than that, but they just did.

And I loved how they protrayed it as the end of the world, and they did it so well too! With the beautiful OST, the animation, Lopmon, Taichi’s reaction, it was all just so perfect to me. I was dissapointed on how easily he died though; they could’ve extended this to a mini arc where the digidestined had to escape and then they have to live in the Digital World while it is getting destroyed bit by bits, and maybe they all get their mega forms during this and then they have their final battle with ZeedMilleniumon where they destroyed him. 

Not suprised on how WarGreymon was the one to defeat him at all, but was dissapointed on how he oneshot him like this. And I know they had the light of hopes and the Holy Digimons powers, but it still was a dissapointment knowing how powerfull ZeedMilleniumon. But I really wasn’t all that mad because of this:

I don’t know why, but Tai yelling “Gaia Force!” with WarGreymon is just so awesome (I really need to extend my vocabulary) to me, and I really just like it. I said this before, but they should’ve done Biomerge/Matrix evolution like they did in Tamers, because this show keeps on sending out this message that they kids will fight alongside their digimons, and what better way to do so than with Biomerge?

Also just remebered this, but I was also dissapointed after the fight, why? Because WarGreymon used up all of his energy, he fought this crazy powerfull enemy, an enemy so overpowered that he can destroy the whole digital world, that warGreymon needed help from the light of hopes, other Digimon prayers, and the Holy Digimons just to destroy him, and when he de-digivolved, he turned back into Agumon...not Koromon.

This is the stupidest and smallest thing to get mad at, but what about Koromon?! I just want to see him one more time.
