The search commenced for the two bodies that were unfortunately promised to them. At first, they assumed that the two bodies would be in the same location, but as the first one was very quickly discovered, the other one seemed to be somewhere more out of the way.

Then, not long after, the sinister chimes sounded, and every students’ PDA buzzed with a notification.

♪♪DING DONG DING DONG♪♪

“Well, look at you wannabe detectives! Both bodies have been found! You can either line up in the 2nd floor hallways and take a gander out the window, ooooor you can jog on over to the 1-up Cafe!”

Hoshi and Stella stood by the first body, as close as they could get to it with its current location, and both could only stare in disbelief while they awaited the discovery of the next corpse. Stella looked like she was going to be sick, or perhaps like she already had been, from this scene, and Hoshi’s expression had once again taken on a deadened, hopeless stare. The investigation wouldn’t begin until both had been confirmed, apparently. Soon after the announcement, a few other students gathered around to see the damage, while others reported to the 1-up Cafe.

There, Gorou and Hime stood in the upper floor, both appearing disturbed in their own right at the scene before them.

Twas the night of the motive and everything was just icky! Some people still hadn’t cheered themselves up and were just generally… bluh. Those negative, nasty, Daiki Downers were seriously going to mess with Hime’s good vibes! But she knew she couldn’t go ahead and ignore them in favor of her anime idols who smiled all across her walls, so she came up with the brilliant idea of inviting two of her super besties for a sorta sleepover! MonokumAI said they couldn’t sleep outside of the hotel building, so Miliko and Stella joining Hime in her own room would be super alright! The idol even picked up the place more, making sure to rearrange her pillows and stuffed animals to allow for more room on her bed. She even made sure to bring up some extra pillows and blankets from the supplies closet so that they could build and impromptu bed on the floor in case they didn’t all fit on her bed. 

Everything was set to run as smoothly as possible! Hime had a little makeup station set up so that they could give each other makeovers if they wanted to! She was absolutely filled with excitement knowing that she’d have two of her friends safe and sound in the comfort of her room. 

Right now it was just her and Stella, Hime was already dressed in her pajamas, as was the seer. They were in the middle of a nice enough conversation, just passing time until the Cabinet Fairy made her appearance. 

When a knock came at her door, Hime basically jumped up from her spot, holding onto the Plush Sentry Turret that Timothy had given to her when they played together the first day of being in this Hell Dome. Oops, idols shouldn’t think bad words like that! So with Hime up, she skipped over to her front door, opening it to allow for Miliko to come inside and relax. Instead of her bright outfit and lovely little updo, Hime had her hair down and was wearing an oversized shirt with IM@S shirt and some pink shorts that barely showed. 

“Cabinet Fairy-san!! Welcome, welcome, welcome~!" 

She moved to let her in and gestured excitedly to Stella. 

"Stella-chan is already here!”

She didn’t like loud noises. That was a fact. Never had, never will. 

So naturally, when the poor boy she had spoken to a while ago quite literally blew up, she was a little shaken up. By shaken up, I mean in hysterics. The barista ran off in a blubbering mess, locking herself in her room and refusing to come out for an extended period of time.

Killing? No thank you. Miliko had officially decided that she was going to stay in this room for the rest of her life. Would anyone notice? Perhaps,  but that wasn’t going to stop her from staying in this cramped area of space which was already making her break out in a cold sweat! Nope, she had nerves of steel and she was going to prove it. 

She lasted a whopping hour before she immediately emerged, disliking the idea of staying there for the rest of her life. It was boring. Instead, she decided to get coffee. Coffee would calm her down!

As she arrived at the cafe, she noticed a certain lanky individual trying (and failing) to work the coffee machine. With a sigh, she moved over and gently tugging the back of his shirt to get his attention.

“Do… Do you need help…?”

“…”

The barista was, as per usual, silent. She considered speaking, but was beaten to it by a certain illustrator. She remained quiet as he spoke, waiting until the courtroom fell into silence once more before piping up.

“… There… Was a fight. Cuts and bruises… From the fight, right? That… That’s why the kitchen…”

“…”
