Some friends go overseas and bring you back a shot glass.
Others bring you t-shirts from modernist theatrical institutions featuring Shakespeare in German.
Thanks mildlybitter!

Next week's maxamoo I get to talk about An Octoroon AND The Heidi Chronicles with mildlybitter and Aurin "Not On Tumblr" Squire
So prepare yourselves because it could be explosive
We had a hard time limiting our list of shows to recommend for February because our theater cup runneth over with interesting projects happening uptown and downtown. But we highlight a filthy musical, some exciting plays, a FRIGID festival, an international touring production that involves audience participation, and we even let Liz talk about her favorite play coming to Broadway.
This is a great one. Yes, I got to talk (or more accurately squeal) about The Heidi Chronicles, but lots of great ground covered: Hamilton! Chuck Mee! U-Boats! My college thesis! Etc etc. Lots to look forward to in February.
Sadly Wednesday did not win the #SamFrenchSelfie contest. So here she is, my Lapine Agile chewing up a Steve Martin classic.
I'm sorry for the people who tagged me but i don't really play the game because i don't know who i can tag back :(

What is your opinion on the usefulness of a Les Miserables-based metaphor in discussing how the glut of revivals on Broadway hurts the development of new plays?
Barricade? Bastille?
If I understood the show,
I’d make better jokes.
Guapo is ready for the Tonys.
1) always post the rules 2) answer the questions the person who tagged you asked and write 11 new ones 3) tag 11 people and link them to the post 4) actually tell them you tagged them
