Yesterday, the 9th volume of Karneval by Touya Mikanagi went on sale. On the manga's package, there was announcement that the series was getting it's own anime adaptation.
The 5th drama CD as also just recently been released. With the release, the customers who buys both the CD and the volume will receive the present of a manga short. As for another treat, customers can go to the official mobile website and take a quiz to win other prizes. Some of the prizes include a mini drama, drawn by Mikanagi, that's about Nai and Gareki or a 4-panel comic also drawn by Mikanagi. Lucky customers may also receive voice messages from Hiro Shimono and Hiroshi Kamiya who are the voices of Nai and Gareki in the upcoming anime adaptation.
Summary: Karneval revolves around Nai, a boy who is looking for Karoku. The problem is, he only has a bracelet for a clue and nothing else. Throughout the story, Nai goes through a lot of unfortunate events that winds him up being partners with Gareki, a theif. They both learn that the bracelet is ID that is from Circus, a organization for defense.
