Kids having a beach day on both sides of the US-Mexico border along Playas de Tijuana and Imperial Beach, California on Saturday, March 30, 2019. New metal adjustments have been recently added (plus more barbwire on the US side) to the fence that goes along the Pacific Ocean, stretching out through the Tijuana-San Diego area, by border officials to keep migrants from both slipping under and over to the other side of the beach. A spike in number of crossings has occurred in the last month of February in the area due to what critics say is a direct correlation to the new “Remain in Mexico” policy that the Trump Administration implemented in January with Tijuana being ground zero as a test to that policy not working and leaving migrants waiting to be processed once again after weeks and months of waiting prior in Mexico the first time around. — #documentaryphotography #everydaylatinamerica #everydayeverywhere #everydaymexico #usmexicoborder #playasdetijuana #tijuana #tijuanamexico #imperialbeach #sandiego #frontera #fronterizo #photojournalism #fotoperiodismo #mexico #migrantcaravan #everydaymigration #everydaylafrontera #everydayrefugees #everydaysocialjustice #dailylife #streetphotography #dailymexico #thewall #edca #reportagespotlight #myfeatureshoot (at Muro Fronterizo En Playas De Tijuana) https://www.instagram.com/carlosamoreno86/p/BvsM0EyglE0/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=16rso1t3qx5gn
