I will be the first person in line to defend Sebastians vows, and totes for people having their asexual Seb headcannon. But I also think about the sweet passionate sex that he and romanced Hawke could have, and their little angel children. So... Yeah... RIP me.
My exact conundrum.
And some people are like, “Just write about him in his wild pre-Chantry days, then!” and I’m like no, that’s not the Sebastian I love. Pre Chantry Seb may be entertaining, but he’s not yet the character I’ve grown so attached to. It wouldn’t be the same.
That’s not to say I oppose writing pre-Chantry Seb. In general, I am all for people exploring his background. But I’m a little wary, for fear people only wanting “fun” Sebastian.
