Not OG-Anon but to expand on hagstone=Chicken god: It is not clear why the hagstone are chicken gods. It is believed that originally the hagstone were put next to the chickens, so they would lay more eggs. They seem to be an influence of Kikimora, an old slavic god, that is rumoured to steal chickens and disturb them when they lay- and is warded of by stone with a hole in them. Anyhow, over time it was believed that they would also bring humans luck and it is a real spread where I live. (1)
