GOODBYE, TERMINAL 3. It’s been a hot minute, more than a year really, that we got “stuck” in Terminal 3 due to the current global health situation. But, movement is necessary cos it’s getting kind of dull and exhausting for everyone already — but the higher-ups have their own reasons, for sure. We’ve been through so much in just a year — our colleagues and our relatives being positive for COVID-19, some of our loved ones, co-workers and friends have perished due to various reasons, dealing with the craziest passengers with limitless excuses to leave the country and so much more. At the end of it all, we got to have each other to rant and be that socially-distant shoulder to cling on to while we have our #MidnightMeals and chow on them while we exchange everything that’s been going on in our lives while we put our masks and face sheilds on. We have endured so much neck and back pain while enunciating our words and almost shouting at passengers so they could hear us whether they’re rude to us or are just hard of hearing. But at the end of every chaotic shift, we surprisingly still get to smile and laugh about all our encounters as we excitedly log out and hear, “YOU ARE AUTHORIZED”. Y’all will be missed but I’ll see you when I see you, fam. May Terminals 1 and 2 treat you well.
