SPOT ME. Probably one or two more flag raisings with these people and we're off to the aiports. It felt like forever in the beginning but it feels like it's too close to the end right now. Gonna miss this batch. Met such an interesting bunch of characters from all walks of life with varying personalities. Lifelong friendships has definitely been formed. . Such a wild thang we had to go through with all the lectures, exercises, activities, workshops and teambuildings. We had to endure all of that to get to where we are. That's what I probably would have said if I didn't tear up the moment I spoke up after the activity. Pinush ka pa banaman ng mga ka-group mo to speak so your message was rambled like word vomit. What an emotional experience that Friday was. It started out fun and exciting but it ended in despair and sadness. . Still, such a memorable team building that none of us will ever forget, for sure. It bonded us as a batch and it will definitely mold us for the future. ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER DRAMA. Still filled with excitement to go back to the Philippine Immigration Academy to thoroughly learn more thangs pertaining to what our work will be but with much dread and anxiety. How many more demerits am I gonna get this week for something utterly petty? . It also feels like I'm in prison or the Pinoy Big Brother House, sometimes even the military. You must wear this, be here at this time, turn this off, read these sections, answer this question. They're definitely not playing with the rules that they've set though I can't say I agree with it entirely. Strictness brings out the worst in people and sets the wrong mood. . At the same time, I'm eager to go through all of it because it will make me a better Immigration Officer. Hence, I'll be able to protect our borders better if I know the essentials of it all. I've already met some good people that can potentially be lifelong and I'm ecstatic that we get to help each other, along the way. . Week 1 was interesting and I was hoping for it to go my way but life is meant to surprise you and most times, you're supposed to just enjoy what each day will bring whether you like it or not. YAS DADDY, OFFICER, SIR. This is not a drill. I'm not wearing a costume for a film or theatre gig. It's literally our uniform and it is sexy AF. I've never been so excited and nervous in my entire life. It's been one of my dreams to be an Immigration Officer and this Sunday, I'm bound for Pampanga to study at the Philippine Immigration Academy for two months. I'm gonna be away for a while. It's gonna be physically and academically challenging based from our orientation but I hope I learn a lot in order to secure and protect our country from unwanted human beings. I just got the book we have to review, read and study. It is thick AF, people. Thick like my huge, throbbing... heart. I guess we have to lessen my being a Scorpio now that I'm working for the government. Hoping my brain cells can handle it all and be empowered on this new adventure. We've officially been appointed and all but we still have to graduate so we'll see how well I'll be performing then but here's hoping we only achieve good things as it is for the benefit of our country, as well. To my other dreams that didn't come true or have yet to happen, I'll see you when I see you. Thankful for the constant support of family and friends. It's never too late for anything. Also, to everyone who keeps on asking, "Where will you be assigned?" Zomg, besh, we need to study and finish the course with flying colors first before they let us know which airports we'll be placed at but I'll post it as soon as it is available.
