Update time!! I’ve decided to give my fic a little push today; I won’t do it every single day of course, but I thought since it’s been more than a week, I can afford to do it now.

It’s a slow burn Reader/DCA fic, and I’ve only just realised the “slow burn” abooouuuut right now. I started writing it for fun, and while I’m still doing it for fun, I can’t help but constantly tweak things here and there, which led me to rewriting the first 3 chapters. First 2 chapters are done and I’m working on the rewrite of the 3rd chapter and the new 5th chapter.

The first draft of C5 is basically done, and I’ll be giving it another once-over before calling it a good-to-go chapter.

I’ve left C3 alone for quite a while because of C5, but I’ve managed to more or less rework the beginning portion (the one with the messages). I have a rough idea for what I want changed, MAINLY the “climax” of C3 (if you’ve read it, you probably know what I’m talking about), as well as a bunch of little details I want added.

(Mainly I want Sun to toss rubber gloves at Reader. No you don’t get context yet)

Writing aside, I’ve made a bit of progress on my moon wall hanging. It’s still too little to be able to tell what it’ll look like when finished, but I’m so far happy with how it’s turning out.

That’s about it for today! I’ll be turning in to bed now, and hopefully I’ll be able to actually start leaving comments on DCA fics again tomorrow. I’ve put it off for far too long

I LIIIIIIVE!

Oh my gosh, I’ve been away for far too long! I got a bit burnt out by a bunch of things and fell offline for a good while, but now I’ve scraped together enough energy to push this “daily” update out!

Sooooo, first of all. I made a thing:

I made a Sun-themed bracelet with a little bell attached! And let me tell you, I have NO idea how Sun wears two bells and not go insane, because this little thing constantly jingles whenever I so much as twitch my wrist and it’s driiiiving me up the wall! :D

Fanfiction-wise, I am ready to push out Chapter 5 this month! Haven’t decided on which day yet - maybe sometime next week - so while I ponder, I’m doing my part in sharing the love to other people’s fics and writing a bit for Chapter 6 in the meantime! Look at this bad boy, I’m proud of it!

Remember I said I’d post a snippet? Well… Here’s the snippet!

It’s, uh, not much now. I kind of got distracted between writing this, writing BIYL and writing comments for Fear Factor. Honestly, I’m surprised I managed to write this much today, but that doesn’t mean this is the snippet I wanted to show y’all. Still, had fun with this little bit :)

I’m done with C5’s first draft, so I’m juggling C3’s rewrite and C5’s editing right now. After C3, I might actually have to touch up on C4 as well. Not to make any drastic changes like in the first three chapters, just to tweak lines here and there.

And finally, I’ve finally found the little bells I’ve been searching for all this time. Now I can make friendship bracelets with the bells and make a pseudo version of Sun and Moon’s wrist bells :D

I’ve barely just prepared it, but here it is

I. Have. Done it! I completed the wall hanging! It’s, uh, not the best quality, but I finished a semi-big project and that’s all I care about!

Now that this one is done, I’m immediately moving on to a moon pattern, and guess what? It’s more than twice the size of the sun one! Yaaaaay…

But at least there’s only 2 colours to contend with, so I might be able to finish this just as quickly.

Ah jeez , okay, so I managed to simultaneously feel like I accomplished a lot of things today and also NOT accomplish anything today. I don’t know how.

Wall hanging is almost completely, just needs 5 more rows before I can tie off the end and move on to a moon-based project. I’ve already decided on a pattern for it, and I can’t figure out if it’s harder or easier than the one I’m doing now.

I’ve also made a bit of progress on my own fic, and also wrote a comment for Fear Factor! I’ve yet to actually post it, but it’s in my Notes app ready to be fired off at any time! Not now though. I eepy now

Welp, here we are at the end of July! I’m a bit sad saying goodbye to my birthday month, but it’s now time to march onwards to the second half of the year ✊🏻

I didn’t do too much today owing to the fact that my work has to publish a newsletter at the end of every month, but all things considered, I’m still pretty satisfied. I made some progress in C3 and C5, and hopefully I’ll be able to push C3 out first as long as Freddy and Sun’s dialogue will cooperate with me for once instead of devolving into incoherent banters :(

As for comments, I’m kiiinda stuck on Fear Factor C5. No particular reason, my brain’s just not fully here today. But at least I managed to pen down the first part, so that I can hopefully finish the rest of the comment by tmr ♥️

And finally, I’ve made some progress on my current bracelet project. I wanna do a bracelet with a bell on one end to simulate Sun’s wrist bells, sooooo uh, let’s see how annoying they are to wear IRL once it’s done lmao.
