Easiest 5 Mins Chocolate Cake (Microwave, No Egg, No Cream)
This is one of the easiest chocolate cake you can make, of course no baking is needed :) I am using only the microwave for this cake and it worked.Ā
This chocolate Ā cake is egg free and you can always substitute to a soy milk, almond milk, coconut milk or any milk you prefer. For the coffee buttercream frosting, i decided to use a Margarine (Vegan) of course you can use butter if you prefer or just use powdered sugar and your cake is complete :) EnjoyĀ this delish and speedy cake.

Microwave Chocolate Cake : Ā ( 9 or 10 inch cake ) Ā Serving 4-6 -Ā
220 gr Ā Plain Flour ( 1 1/2 cups )Ā
3 tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa PowderĀ
1 teaspoon Vanilla Sugar/ExtractĀ
130 gr Olive Oil or any vegetable oil available Ā (1/2 cup + 1 tbsp)Ā
550 gr Warm Water (1 3/4 + 2 tbsp )Ā
Coffee buttercream Frosting:Ā
100 grams powdered sugar ( 3½ oz Ā or 7/8 cup almost 1 cup)Ā
50 grams room temp margarine/butter Ā (1½ oz,softened or 1/4 cup)Ā
1 teaspoon Instant coffee powderĀ
Method: In a bowl, add all dry ingredients. Flour, sugar, baking powder, cocoa powder, vanilla sugar and combine well. Add oil and mix.Ā
Add warm water and combine well. Use a whisk and whisk for 1-2 mins. Add the batter to a greased baking mould (please use microwave safe dish). Now, set for 5 mins and let the cake "bake" or rise.
Ā Do not over "bake" Ā the cake, Ā 5 mins should be more than enough time for the batter to cook. Do note that this cake will rise so please use a container that is suitable for the cake.Ā
-In a bowl, add in butter and beat for 2-3 mins. -Add in powdered sugar in 3 batches ( 3 parts) and beat 1 min for each part.
Ā - Lastly, mix coffee and milk. Now add it to the mixture, and beat for another minute. Ā
Texture should be smooth and easy to spread on the cake. Enjoy :)Ā
