This Coffee Tiramisu Poke Cake is a simple way to enjoy the rich and creamy flavors of classic Tiramisu. Everything about this dessert is great: the coffee, the mascarpone cheese, and the whipped cream.
Ingredients: 1 box of vanilla cake mix. 1 cup of brewed coffee, cooled. 1/2 cup of coffee liqueur. 1/2 cup of mascarpone cheese. 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk. 1 cup of heavy cream. 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar. 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder. Ladyfingers for garnish. Chocolate shavings for garnish.
Instructions: Prepare the vanilla cake mix according to package instructions and bake in a 9x13-inch pan. While the cake is still warm, poke holes all over it using the handle of a wooden spoon. Mix the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur, then pour it evenly over the warm cake, allowing it to soak in. In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese and sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Spread this mixture over the soaked cake. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread the whipped cream over the mascarpone layer. Dust the top with cocoa powder and garnish with ladyfingers and chocolate shavings. Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
