Gentle reminder, the pandemic is NOT over just because the weather is warmer and you are over it! .... If your kids are having a hard time understanding all that is going on, I would highly recommend that you explain to them the science of their immune system and how it pertains to this pandemic. My daughter was “totally freaking out” (Peg + Cat voice) about the Coronavirus. Even though, we don’t listen to the news in front of her, she went to school and her from classmate said that she could die! I reassured her that “everything little thing is going to be alright” but that wasn’t enough. So, I sat her and her little brother down and I explained the Coronavirus and the immune system . They also made a craft and had a lot of fun defeating the “Coronavirus” (Cardi B voice). So, now I am sharing all of what we discussed on my blog!
