Happy 39th anniversary to my parents! ❤️ To celebrate, we had dinner at Oriole, where the entirety of Pixies’ Doolittle plays over the speakers (who else is seeing 🧚‍♂️s outside the Salt Shed in August ‘cause I’ll see ya there) and concert posters cover the kitchen ceiling.

We’d initially wanted to come here last October for my mom’s birthday. However, the day of that reservation, they called us to say they had a COVID outbreak. We genuinely appreciated their honesty and sense of responsibility (as opposed to not telling anyone and just continuing to operate for the sake of $). And the wait was worth it!

홍콩 미술랭 원스타 모노

그 나라에 가면 반드시 미슐랭은 가보곤 하는데 이번에도 한달 반 전부터 예약해서 다녀왔다. 라틴아메리카 음식을 프렌치식으로 재구성했다 하는데 육류보다 생선류가 많이 나온다.

미슐랭 3스타에서 일했다는 쉐프의 자부심이 대단하다

와인 페어링은 총 5잔

스파클링 1 화이트 2 오렌지와인 1 레드 1잔이 제공된다. 사진에 업로드가 안되서 미처 못 올렸지만 스파클링 하나가 누락되었다.

스파클링과 샤르도네가 너무 맛있어서 미쳤다는 감탄사 밖에 안나왔다. 페어링은 쏘쏘한 편이고 와인 자체가 맛있다

먹다가 살짝 매콤한 음식이 나왔는데 매콤한 음식엔 리슬링이 좋아서 글라스로 안파냐고 물어봤다

소믈리에가 리슬링 글라스로 팔지않지만 날 위해서 특별히 한병을 오픈해줬다. 이거 안팔리면 가게도 손해인데 ㅜ 그냥 오픈해줘서 너무 감동이었다

가게 가는것도 돌아가는것도 결국 헤매기 연속이었지만 음식과 와인은 좋았다

This evening we went eating at Uliassi, one of the 11 three Michelin stars in Italy. Wonderful experience. We had the “Classici” gourmet selection and it was all simply amazing.

Congratulation to Chef Mori Sako!

Mory Sacko, chef at Mosuke restaurant Paris has been awarded one star and joint winner of the Young Chef Award given by the 2021 Michelin Guide.

He is known for his very accomplished style of cuisine which mixes African influences with its tropism for Japan, all mixed with a background of French technical bases.

The 28-year-old was trained by Thierry Marx and Christophe Moret.
