Myself and three of my partners were inside a 2nd story apartment attempting to take an individual on an M1 hold. The individual was in his room behind a closed door. Unbeknownst to us the individual had several magazines of ammunition as well as several firearms in the room with him. He opened fire on my partners and I firing roughly 30 rounds at myself and Deputy Zack Parrish. I was struck five times, Zack twice. Deputies Doyle and Pelle attempted rescue of Deputy Parrish when the suspect again fired approximately 30 rounds through his bedroom door. Deputy Doyle was struck in the arm and Deputy Pelle was struck in the chest. I escaped the apartment by jumping out of a bedroom window in a different area of the apartment, which caused additional injuries due to the apartment being on the second floor.
