“Are you sure? You seem quite familiar,” he pondered for a second, trying to recall the faces that he’s come across. He was positive the other was someone he recognized - possibly from his younger year. “Did you happen to go to the elementary school near the park with those green slides?” He questioned, head tilting to the side questionly. Frustration bubbling up due to his inability to produce a better description or the name of the elementary school. It was one of those things he tucked in the back of his mind, erasing most of his past as a coping mechanism - he assumes. Of course, he’d never vocally admit it.

“could i get a drink now? i’dprefer it in a glass to be honest..” a small grin formed on herlips as she took a look around, “guess you wouldn’t like yourshirt to be soaked..”

Hyojung cleared her throat, a soft snicker escaping past her painted lips --- She found it amusing that that question would arise. She leaned back into her chair just a bit, relaxing as she crossed her leg over the other in a demure fashion. “Do I love him?” She raised a brow as she repeated the others question. “Do you mean to ask if I love Myungsoo?”, she wore a smirk before shaking her head a couple of times. “There was a time I loved him a little more than I should have.. but I continued to pursue a much more interesting life”, she heaved a soft sigh. “So no, I don’t love him” --- She smiled, nodding her head just once. “Never will I have feelings for that man again.. I was a girl back then, didn’t even know what I was doing.”

“I meant I’m not sure I want to go through it, again.” Eris corrects herself with a small sigh, but she managed a small smile to return to the other woman. She would (metaphorically) kill for the positive air that seemed to radiate off of her, but maybe it was better for the balance that Eris was more on the pessimistic side. “I know what love is, I just don’t think I’m cut out for it, ya know?” she continues until she feels she doesn’t want to elaborate anymore, trying to play things off as she added in a more playful statement, attempting to edge away from the conversation. “I’m here to be a stone cold assassin, anyways. Strong, beautiful, and independent.”

❝Do I look like I am?❞  Eris looked to the other woman out of the corner of her eye before her eyes turned back down to the papers she was leaning over, a soft hum leaving her before she straightened up to stand fully, the corner of her lips turning upwards ever so slightly. ❝Is my little rabbit afraid? ❞

Her lips form a tight line, examining the girl before her— and perhaps she’s being too detailed and too hard, but she wasn’t exactly the gentle type. “I’m not convinced.” the words are bluntly stated, and she goes as far to lightly coil her fingers around the other’s wrist, eyes narrowing as she gets a closer look at the bruises. She lets go only to lean in, as if trying to make her to look at her. “I’m not a fan of assholes who think they can get away with doing a lotus member dirty. If someone did this to you, and they’re still alive, I need to know.”

Myungsoo gazed at her. He felt horrible being in this position. To the public he had to play the bachelor when all he wanted was to be with her. He was in love with her and it did hurt a tiny bit having to keep it hidden. “I wish the same as well. But it would mean that all the gangs would have to disappear…I know I feel like we will be caught but we have to stay positive..” Myungsoo smiled and pressed a kiss to her cheek. He laughed a bit. “And how was she looking at me~?”
