â friends â
To say it easily? Life lately had been⌠strange⌠more than it was usually. Life on Myeongcho has always been strange, thatâs how it is living on Myeongcho, itâs basically impossible to live a normal life, but life had been more strange and unusual lately. For Hyuk it was like everything went down, and just utter down, and the small highlights in his life he rarely ever noticed due to being too focused on everything that had gone down. What major thing has happened in his life? He had joined a gang, and not only that, he had gone blind. And these two things? He blamed them on the MPD, he had gone blind because his fellow officers hadnât listened to him, and he had joined a gang out of anger, as revenge, if he couldnât be with the MPD he was going to be against them. The male had grown to hate what he once loved the most.
And this hatred was difficult, partly because basically all of Hyukâs friends were from the MPD so it was hard to hate them. In the beginning Hyuk had managed to cut off all contact with everyone, but as time went by he couldnât handle that, slowly he began texting, talking and meeting with his old colleagues again. And this was another meet with an old colleague, Hyuk still felt weird about it, he felt as if he needed to hate him and everyone from the MPD, even if it was so hard to, because really Hyuk couldnât hate Taekwoon. But at last, it felt nice to finally drink with someone rather than drinking alone. âSo Holmesâ he began âor Taekwoon..â he continued âplease tell me what youâve been up to in the month Iâve been goneâ he ended his sentence with.
                     this and that for @mixholmes
life in myeongcho was anything but calm. he had managed to get used to the whole idea of living in a place like myengcho for the past few years, having even managed to successfully make friends. when he had first moved here, he hadnât been expecting that the quiet island town would so rampant with crime and gangs, but he supposed it was no different from seoul in that sense, except on a smaller scale. his life, for the most part, was relatively normal. he made sure to get all his work completed on time (most of the time) and he had made the effort to be not as useless as he usually was. it had been successful so far. decidedly when heâd heard that hyuk was quitting the force, he had been too late to wish him the best and even ask why, but heâd wondered what happened to make the other quit. the other had loved being part of the force so much, why would he quit something that had made him so happy? taekwoon had no idea as to the reason, all he had were minor suspicions and theories.Â
he was glad that his request for drinks had been accepted, and now they sat side by side at the bar. it was nice having drinks with a former collegue, someone taekwoon actually considered a close friend and whose presence he literally actually really liked. when the other asked him what he had been up to in the month since the other had been gone, taekwoon pondered his response. he loooked down at the whiskey shot in front of him and sighed. âDoing whta i usually do. Cases of arson all over the city, paperwork, occasional dead body thrown into the mix, you know how it is.â he stated, grinning. âAlways a good time.â he added. Looking at the other male he grinned. âwhat have you been up to since you quit on everyone in a shock power move?â he asked.Â
