Things I learned as an MICF flyerer
1. Don't flyer walkways, entry-queues or in front of the info booth 2. DON'T EVER EVEN TRY FLYERING IN FRONT OF THE INFO BOOTH DON'T EVEN DARE 3. "Looking to see a comedy show?"/"Want to see some comedy tonight?"/"Not sure what festival show you want to see tonight?"/all variants of those questions will lose all meaning to you as you say them about sixteen thousand times 4. "Do you want to see some comedy tonight?" is also slang for "I'm a drug dealer!" which I learned when people tried to buy pingas off me on multiple occasions 5. Don't flyer other flyerers; don't attack your own. 6. Especially don't ever accidentally try and flyer a big name comedian; it's super embarrassing 7. I love comedy! 8. I hate comedy! 9. I LOVE COMEDY! 10. The rude people aren't the people who ignore you or refuse a flyer, it's the people who take a flyer and throw it in your face or rip it up into pieces in front of you 11. Boys in school uniforms will tell you that they will only take a flyer from you if you put your phone number on it 12. $1 coffees from 7-11 are unsung heroes 14. FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR EVERY TIME I'M GOING TO PASS TOWN HALL I'M GOING TO THINK ABOUT ALL OF THE AMAZING FRIENDS I'VE MADE AND HOW MUCH I MISS ALL OF YOU ❤️
Oh hey!
Take a look at the week that was in my Monday Mashup.
There were just... so many adventures. So many.

Hi!
This is a recording of my live performance from MICF 2015.
It’s my essay about going vegan. Notice the audience only ever applauds politely.

I feel quite strongly about this apparently.

The fist ALAN SMITHEE'S SCREEN TEST of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2015 is on TONIGHT at 10:45 at Tuxedo Cat! There's some really hilarious guests on so be sure not to miss it!
Attn. Melbourne friends!!
It comes to my attention that I have one spare ticket for the very first of Andrew and Chris’ new show at the comedy festival! It’s on the 7th of April, 6pm at the Forum Theatre. They’re front row centre seats, which is awesome, and best of all, you get to see ME! It’s $30 but honestly I don’t mind if you can’t afford the whole thing, just buy me a drink or something. It’s my first show of this tour so I’ll be probably insufferable but omg COME ALONG?! I’ll tag a few melbourne people who i think might be interested but please message me if you’re keen!

We’re back to regularly scheduled YouTube programming this week, and I’m kicking it off with a look back at my week at the Comedy Festival.
Check it out!
