With our lesson Registering your Energy, I gain more insight into my load capacity...
In the previous lesson, we learnt to find balance in our daily life including overload and underload.
The energy meter is useful aid in this case.
Years before my stroke, I already have skills to write about anything. Normally just my thoughts at a given moment. I wrote for years in my diary or journal. I am not a good writer but I’m trying my best through practice.
After stroke or brain injury, I struggle with everything including writing. For example, my “things to do” list. Every time when my therapist asked me do it, I have difficulty.
Difficulty in finding words or constructing sentences. I am lost all the time gathering my thoughts in order or in some cases when I’m so tired it’s easy for me to be distracted. Maybe some of you will notice that my writing still needs polishing.
But anyway, thanks to modern technology, I don’t have to write the old fashion way. We have computers, mobile phones and all sorts of applications to aid us.
Through practice, patience and perseverance, I gained my skills back in writing my agenda or journal or this blog.
We have to write our daily activities for five days.
I don’t have all the answers yet but someday I will ... I’m hopeful.
