#mff 2022

This year’s MFF was such an incredible experience, on par with or maybe even better than my first time there in 2018 (though that was helped by also seeing Bent Knee, Leprous, and Haken the same weekend). Every year, it feels like I gain more experience with how to handle fur cons, especially with my partial suit, and it culminated in such a fun Saturday night that I don’t think I’ll ever forget.

Eating waffles in a friendly stranger’s room, getting wasted with Snacks in suit on peanut butter whiskey, running around hugging fursuiters for hours, sharing joints and conversations with random people on the balcony, meeting back up with my boyfriend for drinks and Wendy’s in a popufur executive suite; I truly wished it would never end.

I’m so so grateful that every year I get to meet more amazing people, friends both old and new to share experiences with. People enjoy this fandom for a multitude of different reasons, and I love getting to share in all of that variety for the weekend. It really helps me feel more confident in truly being myself, the way that I want to be, around so many people who are excited to celebrate that with me.
