My dear furby friend, @friend-of-furbies , commissioned me to make another iconic Subway Footlongfurby!

It has been 2 and a half years since I made my last Footlongfurby! Time is a liquid that I have spilled 🧍‍♀️

Tony Polpetta is ready to smell up every mall food court with his fresh bread and meatball sauce smell! He has a posable spine, a crinkly belly to simulate a Subway wrapper, and lovingly handsewn details such as a wonky ear and felt spinach. Please wish him safe travels!

Trapped to contain his powers

I sew Gaby's faceplate back on his fur today, after finishing the white and gold paint job on his eyes and beak. But just after that, I broke his speaker by testing his belly detector and HE CAN'T SPEAK ITALIAN ANYMORE!! I say "I buy non functioning furbies cause I just like the fun aesthetic" but no I got attached to the italian furby voice... I'll have to fix that later. Saw some videos with links to small speakers that fit on amazon. I'm really proud of the white eldritch look, I wanted to have him be full pure white, wake up and reveal the gold inner parts and say "Me dormire encora!" before he goes snork-mimi.

The gold is mica powder mixed with mod podge, the beak and eyelids where finely sanded, spray painted white and finished with spray glossy varnish. The eye chips are the og ones, you just take them of and sand the flat face until it's clear, then add whatever you want. Then i used a bunch of sparkly flakes, put them in the eyechip sockets, added resin and pushed with the eyechips. I use UV resin, so I could clean up the excess resin thoroughly before setting in with blue light.
