For those who were left wanting to know more , here is the second part (summarized) of the subway research. In this module we review the basic elements that were technical innovations of the 1968 Mexico Olympiad and how they impacted the development of the subway project in terms of graphic system and is the introduction to later talk more about the identity in shape of the subway and how it has developed over the years (in this chapter we do not yet talk about the shaped pictograms, but it is an interesting basis). Since 2020 I began a research on the design of the subway, its signage and influences, as well as archival material to understand the processes that were used and what makes it so iconic in the history of Mexico City. and today thanks to the guys from Hola Todo es diseño it's on their youtube channel, it's a great honor that they have allowed me to collaborate on their platform and because of the length of the video it was divided into 3 episodes.
