Do you think a 3DS Metroid game will be released any time soon? And if there was a 3DS game coming out would you prefer a stereoscopic side-scroller similar to Fusion or Zero Mission but with more depth? Or a full 3D world with 3D graphics similar to Hunters?
I have no idea if there will be a 3DS Metroid coming out soon, but something like that could have a lot of potential, I think.
Iâd want a 3DS game to be a side-scroller, though it could probably have a 2.5D sort of style similar to how Sonic 4 looks. Though honestly, as long as the game handles like Fusion, ZM or Super, I doubt Iâll be too picky as to how it looks. I also think that in a 2D game the touch screen could be useful by showing you your map or inventory at all times.
I wouldnât want a fully 3D game like Hunters. Iâm not saying that I didnât like Hunters (I thought it was enjoyable enough), but itâs just been way too long since weâve had any 2D games. Those were my favourite ones from the series (though I absolutely love the Prime series), and itâs been years since weâve had any Metroid sidescrollers.
And one last thing that Iâd want from a 3DS game (regardless of it being 2D or 3D), is that it chronologically takes place after Fusion.

Ugh, don't I know! I'm in college and most of my classes begin at 6am, but IÂ also commute.
Scariest part? I'm in culinary school and it's usually the labs that are early; how I haven't lost a finger whilst using knives I could shave a bear with is beyooooond me.
