I remember at the beginning when researching for a umich person I and my partner considered the apollo 15 for the project. Although we didn’t go with it, it piked my interest when I first learned they you guys were doing the Apollo 15. I was curious about what direction your sequence was going to go. Now that I’ve seen your final project I’ve been impressed and dazzled by your video. How you change from a realistic black and white to a fanasty sci-fi setting is splendid. It really showed a side of the project you enjoyed doing and creating. By the way, your guy’s make-up is amazing.

In the beginning, we had no idea what the end product would be nor what the iterations the project would go through. Based on the initial instruction from our professor, of researching people relating to the university. We started with a list of alums we thought, in particular, would be engaging and have themes we could possibly explore in the sequence assignment. The reason we went with Isabella Abbottt (expanded from above) is making a cake after Emily found this article “Isabella Abbott, World-renowned Stanford Algae Expert Dies at 91” which mentions Abbott’s personal hobby and how it related to her professional life and traditional culture. Both of us agreed to make a cake for the project early on but yet didn’t know how to present it and what message we wanted to convey for the Sequence. In the end, I didn’t get to eat the cake.
