Step-by-step of my metallic effects.
I use standard round brushes for the coloring, with pressure sensibility; and often add a rougher texture afterwards on other layers with various blend modes.
The software I use is Procreate for iPad.
Keep in mind that this is my current way of doing it, and is absolutely not the only possible way! Use references et keep experimenting with brushes/textures/blend modes!
